I'm happy to give them twenty dollars more if it looks fun. That said, It does not look fun yet, so they can't have my money. Bottom line, If people don't want the mod/dlc/totally new and original game, then they shouldn't give them money. They'll go away if people stop paying them for their work and commenting on their videos. As for the folks saying their assets suck/are generic...if it's so easy to make a game that sells millions of copies, go do it, then you'll be rich enough to spend money on a lame game without complaining about it.

@@Sniperghost48 Unfortunately the console version was Teltale games and when they went under they took that with them and never gave it back to TFP. They can't do anything to the console port of the game as it isn't theirs anymore. This is why they're making console players buy the updated version of the game because they can't touch the one Teltale put out. That being said it isn't console players fault for having a studio shut down and steal IP. The cost shouldn't come back onto the players who purchased it already. This does clearly look like a cash grab to me and I am disappointed. Also, the nerve of releasing trailers for a "new game" (lmao) when 7 Days has been in alpha for a decade and still hasn't been released as a 1.0 is astoundingly insulting in the grand scheme of things. As much as I like to support TFP they deserve to be mocked for this. As much as I love 7 Days I wouldn't trust this dev team with shit after how this has all gone down. lol

I just find it hilarious how I feel like from a marketing standpoint it’d be way more smart to add this entire game into regular 7days… look at how successful Fortnite is as much as that game is ass to most people I at least respect their business model. @@Donkerbb The memory leak is insane on long running worlds. It starts off fine, but the performance hucks itself off a cliff after an hour of play. Eventually a world gets so bad that it just stays at 15fps or lower. Thats when I call that run complete because I can't stand it.

I think that everyone who has played 7DTD at least once would agree that optimizing the game in order to make it less laggy would be much more appreciated than new updates with new items/features e.t.c. Not everyone has a monster computer and even mine which is pretty strong cant even handle a 16 zombie horde. So basically the cap for me is not 64 which is the max that the game allows you to but 16.

@TheFunPimps, In the game 7 Days to Die, The Alpha 20 release really changed how you monitor your character's dehydration levels and hunger levels, As well as how one collects and uses water sources. I, myself, have a PS4, I have the legacy version, and the alpha 15 version on the PS4, in my opinion, is a lot more realistic than what it was in Alpha 20... This is just a question, have you gone back to the legacy way of monitoring hunger and dehydration or is the current method still the same as Alpha 20?

would be cool to incorporated a reverse scenario in the main game; meaning the map is mostly populated by humans, you play as zombies-you evolve your zombie, when it dies you respawn in a nearby zombie. you eat people to turn them, you find zombies to mark them, zombies in houses infested multiply slowly due to random npc's entering and getting eaten; etcetc. would be really cool to play the other side in a non-stressfull enviroment mostly :D

I feel so bad for you lol… they lost the rights for years and once got back they pretty much sat on getting it ported because of how much the PC title still needed finishing and optimization… still does even though they say a complete 1.0 is on the way… I hear the console titles are finally getting updated nearly a decade later… although god only knows how far along or up to date to the pc version it will be which in most cases or games isn’t the worst case but with 7days I would say so considering it’s nearly 9 years of content missing…. I don’t even think console has the moped bikes… and if it does that was the last update or version it got… saddening considering they have cars motorcycles, trucks & so much more not vehicle related also.. ironically 7days to die was the game that forced me in my mind to invest into gaming computers & I’ve never looked back since. I would love it if the play data from this game was used to improve 7 days to die. It would also be nice to see items and weapons introduced that are influenced by class overlap and difference.

If you've been playing on console, the version there hasn't seen an update in like 5 years. For them, this is basically a full sequel. For PC gamers, not so much.

This looks like the other 2 modes of play that were to be in the original. Horde Mode (every night is 7th night, get your supplies & survive as best you can) and play as a zombie, attacking others' bases.

I believe if you're playing on PC, this release is actually free. It's only the people on console that have to pay, but compared to what they have it's basically a whole new game.

First thing one does when they install 7days to die, find the items file, open it in note pad, and change the abysmal toned down fire rates of the irl weapons, and adjust the recoil match their irl counter parts step 2. Profit.
