Hi doctor.. I hope you can answer this. I really want to start lots of parsley for the ton of benefits, but I’m worried about the amount of oxalates that are said to cause kidney stones..also, the high vitamin K and blood coagulant issue concerns me now after all the “reporting of blood clots” in the last 3 years. Are these risks real? Or merely exaggerated? Thank you for your time. 😊

Hello how do we use parsley without loosing its benefits boiled or fresh
@DrGus3 жыл бұрын
Greetings Anna Agraioti, many thanks for the interest. As with every vegetable, cooking it makes it lose it's nutrients, so fresh is always better.

@Dr. Gus That's right Doctor (or members of staff) In Turkey Cyprus, Greece Spain,Portugal people consume parsley with salads, during lunch and dinner. Personally I eat them 3-4 times a week. I just add them into my salads.

How do I prepare parsley tea
@DrGus Жыл бұрын
Good afternoon Joyce, Parsley can be consumed raw added to salads, as part of garlic, oil and parsley dressing, on grilled fish, in green smoothies, etc. It can also be taken as an infusion, but hot water destroys some of its properties.

I was also having a lot of pain all over my body and terrible stomach aches. So I cut out all dairy, which was the source of my inflamed body, and went on a juice fast. In a high speed blender, Vitamix, I combined: a bunch of Parsley, Ginger, Lemon, Oranges, Aloe Vera leaves and voila, all my aches and pain have subsided. This drink did not taste great, but it was medicine for my body and mind. Let food be thy medicine.

Parsley juice is very effective for UTI. Also there is a man who succeeded removing all his kidney stones by drinking 40 cl parsley juice per day during 5 days ( i heard this story in a video of Thierry Casanovas)

@DrGus9 ай бұрын
Good afternoon Amina, Consuming parsley can be beneficial for the heart. It should also be taken into account that B complex vitamins like this, as well as vitamin B2 or riboflavin, are important for the nervous system.
