Thanks for showcasing this mod Vedui! I am glad XYTH is keeping this mod up to date. I wish TFP would add something like this in vanilla like you said. Another cool idea would be to make it so you get the camera view of your base triggers / turrets, but on a console or something. Something else would be to make it so you could remote operate the junk drone with a camera for POI investigation, sorta like Empyrion.

Yeah the way I look at it, modders doing these things are a good indication of things we need in vanilla. Not all, but a lot. Empyrion is cool, haven't played for so long, does it have cameras and stuff, or just the personal drone? :)

@@Vedui42 Right?! Yeah their drone is what I was referring to. They still don't have official mod support yet. Last I played it was right when they decided to break their early access status to v1.0 They added a bunch of their own 3D assets kinda like TFP is doing with 7DtD. Empyrion is way more stable now. They are working on polishing out their questing system now. It has grown up a lot over the last couple of years or so. You aught to pop in a creative session and have a look at all the new Prefabs and weapons. One of the prefab creators on the workshop Jeff Randall has gotten a whole Faction race added to the game. Named 'Kriel' I helped him rig and set up a few of his faction POIs for the game.

Fun stuff, i used a mod that had a rear view camera to help notice those pesky vultures trying to sneak up on you.

Yep! Imagine having this done properly, better. A central control station where you can turn them on-off, pan-no pan... move manually. And hook up to triggers :D

Ah.. yeah it does hit performance. I can run a couple of cameras ok, but it does hit performance.

yeah doesn't work i checked my workbench and it doesn't have CCTV crafting item do I need a book to learn to add it to the workbench because mine doesn't have it also you sure that table ur using is Called WorkBench Because it looks whole lot different then the workbench item what other name does it have besides workbench because we have different ones i g ues
