So glad i watched this- I didn't realize you had to do that burning napkin thing when the podge was still wet- I had flames and soot everywhere- had to throw it in the sink and spray water on it- was a little bit nerve wracking. haha. Diedre- you make it look so easy.

I made a cloche and added wood half circles around the base so the cloche can’t move as much. Took it to the next level!

I think it is such a kind thing that you feel bad for covering someones hand painting. I thought is was the only one that would feel bad and try to preserve the artwork. I love that riser.
