My girl always ask me, “Am I to clingy?” I always tell her no, because I rather have her be this way than loose that. We both are affectionate people, so I don’t even look at it as clingy. I told myself the things I wanted in my next relationship, so my goal is to keep those things that I want going. Whether it’s holding hands the moment we get out the car, cuddle together while watching TV, whether she’s working from home, or cooking(before she tells me the kitchen is off limits now) I just always tease her. When we go to bed, we talk about stuff before we go to sleep. There’s no going to bed, and immediately rolling over saying good night. I’m basically creating a new normal for this relationship compared to my last. Thanks to watching this channel, and applying all the information, and advice, it has helped 100% so far. This channel has taught me to do everything with intention, and purpose.

As a women I can say that the need for attention is the need to be pursued. I can’t say why it is exactly but there is always this question that burns deep down inside of the heart of a women “Does he still really love me?” It’s a constant drive for an emotional connection. A women needs to know and feel that she is loved the way a man needs to feel respected. Acts of love on a consistent basis will capture her heart. Even more, if she is healthy, she will respect you for it.

The first one is something I needed to hear months ago. Could have saved my relationship. 100% giving your girl attention is important. It's such a small and simple thing to do too. But I was putting my grind over her desire for my attention. The moral of the story is to not take that kind of thing for granted. There is always a way to work that intimacy in to keep the relationship alive, and the girl feeling connected to you.

Where's all the men commenting on this video??? First off...no one wants to work forever. Everyone eventually would like to not have to work. I'm a woman. And if a woman thinks a man needs to take care of her financially in any way, then she's just a lazy gold digger. A man shouldn't have to worry about if a woman doesn't wanna work. A woman should want to work to be able to support her man in ways she'd like to too. No GOOD woman would want her man to be the only one making money. Second...Stephan is on point with #4. IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT SEX GUYS!! We need emotional security OUTSIDE the bedroom just as much. DON'T JUST DISMISS A WOMANS FEELINGS!!! If you do, then let her go. You don't truely care about her if you dont care about how she feels. You men need to get more in touch with your intuitive side to be able to get how women work mentally and emotionally. Get in touch with your emotions. Then you'll get any woman you want.
@shayflowers8471

I would like to add something on #3. It's not about most women don't really want to work just because of laziness or taking advantage. There's a lot of women who do want to work but the ones who get married later on have kids. And it's difficult to juggle kids and job together. So in order to focus on childcare, they have to sacrifice themselves on their jobs. Most women know about this fact, so in order to maintain the financial stability incase she have to step down for any reason, she prefers a man who can provide more salary compared to her.

Regarding our need for attention, my experience is that once a man secures a woman in his life, his attention reverts to what interested him prior to the relationship. It might be watching other men on the TV, it might be focus on his work, it might be his blokey friends in the pub, or a particular hobby he loves. But he reverts to his bachelor needs so that there is really no mutual relationship: what occurs instead of a relationship is the woman becomes his 'mother' in the background of his life, existing just to serve his single lifestyle. She doesn't merely want the man's attention, she gives him her attention, and when attention is mutual, there is a relationship. Otherwise, there is no genuine relationship.

This is false. Men, just like us, have other things that were going on in their lives before they meet their partner, so it's natural for them to give attention to those things in life. It sounds more like you want all attention on you, which is not healthy for him or you. He should be able to and be afforded the time to give attention to other things than just you to keep his own sanity and maintain a healthy balanced life with you in it. It should only become a problem if he completely removes you from that process/ neglecting you.

It's not reading my mind. Pay attention to me. Get to know me. I will tell you if I'm not getting what I need, but I'm not going to keep repeating myself. Live within your means to be able to provide if your woman doesn't work. What happens outside the bedroom is very important to what happens inside the bedroom and any other room we get busy in!! You are so right when it comes to me. You are so so on point in this video!!! I'm a romantic. I'm not into two dogs in heat!!! At my TENDER age, I'm pass some of the things you address, like working. You want to be listened to, you will listen to me. Recipution is very important for a relationship to succeed and be strong to me. We give each other what we need and want without crossing boundaries. Respect each other and compromise for each other. Commit whole heartly to the relationship and truly love, it's forever. I've learned, you have to want it to work and do what it takes to make it work. One-sided isn't going to get it. It takes two. If both isn't fully committed, truly in love, don't waste time and move forward. Be honest with yourself and the other person. I will not have any problems in communicating with love what I need. We all agreed we wouldn’t mind pouring into children, making sure the house is nice and neat and I’d rather sit on foundations and do more philanthropy and pouring into my kids than working

@Strongpoeticmind

The first mistake you made was talking with your girlfriends instead of taking some action to live up to your purpose. Suppose you want to be married. It would be best if you worked on finding a husband now, less talking to your girlfriends. Your window to have healthy children is between 21 to 30 years of age. I've been married for 27 years with three children and a wonderful husband and provider. I'm very blessed. Being a Mother is the only work I rather be a part of that is meaningful and the only reason God made me a woman. I found my husband in college, married by 23 years of age. Don't wait too long; always work to buy nice things and hang out with friends. Before you know it, time will up, you will be 40 and end up all alone. Your girlfriends are your competition.
@SJ-ru4ej
@SJ-ru4ej Жыл бұрын
@@Strongpoeticmind That isn't necessarily the window for healthy children, lol. Women have healthy children over 30, too, and there are kids born with issues to women in the age range you mentioned, as well. It generally depends on the mother's overall health. Obviously, risks go up slowly as we age, but there's no absolutes for any age range. I worked with a woman years ago who had a child at 26 yet she was overweight and diabetic, and she had complications. My first was born when I was 33 and I had zero concerns. More women are having kids in their 30s now than ever before. That's a very old school mindset, respectfully. I also don't think it's necessarily productive to look at friends as "competition." What's appealing to one woman, may not be to another. Just put yourself out there, work on yourself, and work to find someone to commit to/eventually marry.
@JessOhio2013
@JessOhio2013 Жыл бұрын
@@Strongpoeticmindgood sis, as someone in the medical field, there is no definitive age range on when a woman can have healthy babies. Your risk increases for high risk complications but even with that increase the risks are still under 20%. Additionally, a lot of the R&D that contributed to “advanced maternal age” is currently being reevaluated as women are living longer and having healthy babies at older ages. Fertility is dependent upon one’s own genetics, environmental factors, and lifestyle health. For example, a 40 year old woman who eats well, exercises and takes care of herself will have an easier time conceiving and carrying full term than a 20 year old woman who eats a bunch of processed food, doesn’t take care of her body and is stressed. Please stop spreading inaccurate information
@Strongpoeticmind
@Strongpoeticmind Жыл бұрын
@@JessOhio2013 Nobody cares about your medical expertise but you. It would be best if you were focusing on being a mother. What you assume is inaccurate information is based on my life experience as a wife and mother. You go ahead with your seven degrees telling women 35 plus to have children, and they end up having problems finding a high-valued man or freezing their ages because they are focused on a career only to miss out on beautiful experience. Please Stop giving younger women false hope with your information. They should be married and have children while still young, in their 20s.

Dated a girl for 3 years. Only thing with this video i don't agree with is how her career was important to her. It provided structure and social interaction for her. Anyhow, when i met her, she put in so much effort towards every aspect of the relationship. I asked why it all changed she told me it was because she felt less of a need to try as hard in the relationship. I think complacency is a huge issue in some relationships. Or, maybe it is a lack of respect or another topic from Stephan's talks. Being a psychology student, i think it is important to focus on the fact that there are so many men and women that have unresolved healing. My ex struggled with bpd and anxiety etc. My point is, there are some that cannot heal, or refuse to embrace healing. I could go on forever. I went through that and kept letting her come back, women just want attention, they know a good guy, they like kids at times they just see what they can get away with; eventually you'll get to the point where you feel like she's wasting your time or disrespecting you. Just cut her loose, know what you want and go get that. I think we waste time because of familiarity and comfort, the woman we know is safer than the unknown, bro go out into the unknown and enjoy your life and if she the one she will work to get back with you..... she'd make you work right?

I completely disagree with women not wanting to work. Raising children is a full time job. Requesting a woman to raise three kids and pay 50% of the bills is ridiculous. Women bare the burden of house work. Women stop working if they have kids at home. Yes women add the salary plus the addition to pay for kids to not reduce standard of living. Saying a SAHM is not a job, is a joke. This is why many women file for divorce.

Time spent together for me outweighs everything else. We don't need to be on a date, or going out somewhere. I'm more seeking a mental energy exchange. You don't need to read my mind, because I'm okay with being clear in my communication, but you are spot on for #4. What happens outside the bedroom definitely affects what happens within the bedroom. Not so much for #5 and #6. I do not require an over the top experience. I actually would prefer that it was not blown out of proportion, whatever it is. As an introvert low key is definitely the way to go, and as a logical thinker I do try to analyze my feelings about things, but it definitely takes a backseat in most cases. My thoughts are what a man would need to take into account. Though I am an enneagram 5, I do try to remember to take the thoughts and feelings of others into account.

Stephan, I want to create an environment in my relationship that includes being comfortable to be real and constructively criticize each other, real intimacy, as you mention here in this video. The man I was seeing said that he did not want to exchange constructive criticism more than once every 7 months because it disrupts his peace. I was more comfortable with as needed to stay close and understand each other. To me, once every few weeks generally felt reasonable and natural. Let’s say we would have 21 exchanges in that time, (talk or text or spend time together 3 times a day) and if one of those was constructive feedback to stay close, that felt reasonable to me. It felt to me like mostly harmony with very occasional constructive feedback. It felt to him like constant constructive feedback, he said. You also talk in another video about peace and not dating a woman who disrupts your peace. I’m truly confused here. To me, him saying that me respectfully giving him constructive criticism (with the true intention of building intimacy, understanding, and helping us love one another better) disrupts his peace and he is not open to it - feels to me like he is avoiding intimacy and understanding, and avoiding growing or improving. To me, this feels like an insecure man who is not willing to self-reflect or ever need improvement. Do you include this in “disruption of peace?” Am I wrong here? Will you please talk about this? Thank you!

I would like to add to Number 3. I think women generally are not as ambitious career-wise as men. I’d argue its not that they don’t want to work, it’s that women think smaller when it comes to work and money and have less priorities on status and power. Yes there are women who love staying at home and having a man provide full time, but times have changed and women have also experienced the joys of work and the gratification that comes from a good career. I’m a woman and I derive a lot of satisfaction from my work. It’s not fear-based (at least for me). I also think this has a lot to do with who your circle of friends are. There is nothing wrong being traditional and letting a man solely provide but I struggle to believe that most women could be alright not working. Depending on what you do of course, but the right work can be meaningful and a hella adventure. I believe women who find their calling would find it hard to give it up.

I agree with most things you mentioned Stephan! I definitely agree when you mentioned that men will usually not think about the details and just the content. I have had men buy me gifts and not even think about what they are buying; they just buy a gift. It doesn’t even match me or who I am the gift they buy. They just do it because they know they are supposed to buy a gift. It doesn’t have the same experience as if they bought me something I liked or if they presented the gift in a different way than those men did.

@Florida_gyrl
@Florida_gyrl Жыл бұрын
@@lukas4016 Ummm no. I honestly feel that if someone is in a relationship with you they should not have to ask you what gift you like. You should have gotten to know someone during the talking phase or the relationship enough to know their likes, dislikes, interests, etc. Then getting them a gift won’t be so difficult especially one they like. I find most guys just do something to do it. It just goes back to what Stephan said in his video. The experience of the whole process is more meaningful to a woman than just the process. I don’t know how else to explain to you. And most of these guys were not really that invested in a relationship anyways so buying a “gift” was meaningless to them. They cared more about something else than getting me a gift you could tell was from the heart. And a guy told me that his family had to tell him to buy me something so that obviously isn’t very romantic or like he really cared. He only did it because someone else told him to.

As a woman I hope every man listens to this many times. He is spot on. One more thing-if you pull away in dating without communicating first that you need to take some space to think for a few days, you will DESTROY that woman’s faith in you and in the relationship. She will ALWAYS have it in her heart that you could do that again any time without notice. And she will resent you and it will come out later in little ways that don’t make sense to you. You have basically taken what you have with her, crumpled it up and thrown it in the trash can.

My summary of point #3, is you should at LEAST have the AMBITION to strive toward a lifestyle where you're taking care of your woman financially. Any effort she sees in making her life easier financially should be, if you're with a good woman, rewarded in so many other aspects. She'll be happier which will make her more willing to do things outside of finances like taking care of you, the home, children etc, and have more you know what. Women put SO MUCH stress on themselves to take care of everything around them (it's the natural caretaker in them), having to work a full time job and paying multiple bills on top of everything else she's stressing about that you probably don't even consider 99% of the time can be so overwhelming. Knowing that you got the basics and she'll always have someone else to fall back on for the necessities is going to make her feel like she doesn't have to be super woman all the time, and she can just relax and ENJOY taking care of the things and people around her. It's a huge weight off her shoulders and any good woman is going to be 100% appreciative of that.

I can't speak for every woman but in my personal opinion, I'll put it like this; a man needs to have a purpose in his life outside of a woman/family and all that. For a woman, 9 times out of 10, her family is her purpose so if her family's image (which includes her, her man, her home, etc) isn't put together right, she's going to feel like she's failing to keep up. A man finds most pride in his work and what it brings to the world; a woman finds most pride in her home/image and what it brings to her family. Steve Harvey got it right when he said women have a biological clock and men have a financial clock.@@lukas4016

You are right about a woman wanting to have the whole experience of dancing, dinner, etc. along with sex. The problem I often hear from men is that even when the man or husband does all those nice things. Still, when they get home to do the sex part, she (wife, or girlfriend) doesn't fallow through often and this leaves the man feeling frustrated and left out.

Point #5: Women live "The Fantasy" in their minds and overlook what is really necessary: The content and the quality of sex!! Luckily for me 8/10 cared about the content and didn't live the little fantasy and experience in their mind about sex! It's really corny for women to want to play out the fantasy of the experience that may lead to sex vs having really good sex! You are right, Stephan!! I qualify women to find out which type of sex she wants based on what you say for many years, now! Not all women want to be romanced, live the fantasy-talk in their mind about the experience vs the content and other requirements in reference to good sex!

The more time I spend single the more I ask myself "what's the point of having a partner?" At first you have to deal with boredom, loneliness, lack of social interaction, lack of meaning. But you learn to satisfy those things. You learn to get all those things from your network and from yourself. Loneliness, for example, is probably the most stressful one but it also is the one best solved by yourself. If I'm going to have a woman in my life, why am I compromising? What is she bringing to the table that I can't get single? Loyalty is an illusion. Intimacy is far from guaranteed and fleeting at best. Why am I going to compromise my life to give someone all my attention, protect and provide for? Seems like women are getting the better end of the deal. This is why relationships seem like traps. People believe that they will always feel lonely unless they "have someone". That's a lie. You can feel lonely with someone. You can be your own good company. People think that happiness is somehow tied to having a family. You need a wife and kids. It's the same. These things don't necessarily bring happiness. All of these things are just added responsibilities. Not trying to shit on women or be a downer but.... what's the point?

Very good video and I agree that every point is valid in my experience. However, it does re-enforce to me how difficult relationships are for men : ) It seems to me the things that attract women to you in the first place, I.e independence, prioritising work, having a social network, working out and staying healthy s very difficult to maintain in a world with limited hours and days. Unfortunately we are all to often left with a choice do we fulfil these other interests/pleasures or make the woman our main priority/focus. Leaving us unfulfilled in these other areas. My own thoughts are they are likely to lose respect for you eventually when you do this and maybe more importantly you lose respect for yourself………I realise this is a very negative post : ) but am inclined more at the moment to only entertain women that can get with my other interests/prioritises but at same time take ownership that my communication and understanding of her and the quality of time we do spend together is on point. We cannot sell ourselves out for love when the reality is everything you do and invest in a partner may prove to never be enough

Guys know exactly what to say and what to do to make a woman fall head over heels for them, they KNOW... But when it comes to guessing what she might need ( a gentle word, a piece of advice, a sense of security and safety, committment) they act as if they are completely oblivious... Beware of people who make use of cold empathy and weaponize it to their benefit, and who show utter indifference to your suffering and agony when you most need them to care.... get away from users and takers who only know how to read minds and how to fake empathy when it serves their agenda...
