As a woman, I have to agree wholeheartedly with all of these. As I’ve told male friends of mine over the years, if she’s a “good woman” she will do these exact things and be happy to do them because it’s in our nature. Inherently, we want to please/pour into/cater/nurture our man; and if she’s not doing these things then she might still be “good/great” but she’s not your woman.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. It’s a good thing to look for in both partners.

While listening to this, I recognize that most of my real female friends act the same way. Not saying they are in love with me, just having the reflection that there's not much of a difference between a lover and a friend. Bringing it back to the idea that if you're not friends with your lover, it's probably not going to work in the long run.

As a woman, I agree with all of these. I’ve been showing this one guy all these things on the list. I told him, I’ll never change him. I like you the way you are. With that said, I think I’m falling for him. I see we are both giving each other equal attention and needs. By doing that it’s a powerful thing, when two ppl give each other equal everything. I'm in the same boat over here, I keep wondering if I'm going to do something to mess it up and he's going to start acting like all the liars and cheats from the past and time after time he shows me he's genuine and responds to my love with the same care and understanding I'm giving him. I really had given up on ever meeting a guy who was even capable of care and understanding, let alone sharing it with me. The more I listen to Stephan the more I wonder at how he responds to me and treats me the way Stephan coaches. It's kinda amazing.

@@MW-uk5ji Me too, I’ve been listening to him after I broke up with my ex. I think you should trust yourself. And if it feels natural and he brings you peace. And he stay genuine. Ask god if he is the one and what the next step you should do. Stay positive, good will come to a woman if she keep going forward. With a good out look. Guys don’t like negative, self-conscious and depressed women. If he see you can move on, even if it didn’t work out between you two. It will draw him or more men to a confidence woman like yourself.

She was alot in both appearance and character, until I prayed one night asking God that if she's the one or not show me signs... I was showing all of these signs toward a man I truly cared about, yet he dismissed everything and kept emotionally and mentally abusing me. When I could no longer deal with his disrespect I broke down and blew up, saying some things that hurt his ego (I told him how he made me feel based on his words and behavior and that I was tired of ignoring this behavior). He finally just cut me off and went ghost. It's sad because he told me many of the previous women he met did not behave this way toward him. He said they'd ask him for money etc. For whatever reason he felt I was not right for him despite my genuine love for him. Instead he kept talking about his ex , comparing me to her and focusing on my flaws while dismissing all of the sacrifices I made for him. I miss him and still love him, but he told me he didn't want me. I was "too emotional". Sometimes both men and women are still single because they are not willing to give chances to people who demonstrate authenticity. They only seek based on physical attraction and then hope they can mold personality afterward. I just give up seriously.

@keyo33163 ай бұрын
@@sanane66543 I wish I could have. The man would never answer my calls. He was a mostly text all the time guy. Phone calls were rare and visits even more rare. Part of the "blow up" was because he refused to just have a nice 5 minute phone call where we could talk like adults. It's hard to discuss things via text. Whatever the case might be he has reached out at least 3 times this year. He doesn't talk to me but just checks in to let me know he's still alive. I've decided to just leave the door open and if he wishes to have something with me I am here and if not then whatever. I'm tired of chasing these men.

Right I can tell she can't be in relationship. I do like her and I know she does for me. We've just been hanging out as friends since this past August I know she isn't in the mental state for a relationship and I havent been pushing for it. She just needs a friend right now. My ex met all these criteria! But I never believed she was in love because of the pull backs. The one foot in, one foot out. The failure to talk about the future, to make purchases together, to endlessly express doubts about our compatibility and take issue with my shortcomings, not in a constructive way. We drove each other away because of those actions -- and because of my reaction to them. She was coming out of a deeply traumatic breakup, which explains a lot, while I was 100% ready for a long term relationship. It was all about the timing, and I go back and forth about whether to give up on her or continue to harbor hope. Would love to see a video on this!

I can tell you right now that she was either still in love with her ex or cheating on you. If you give her the impression that you will always be there for her then she will never want to be anywhere with you. A woman who shows love and good signs but then goes cold out of nowhere is a woman who is cheating on you. She loves your security but not you.

I love this list and coming from a man for a change. Number 9 can be debateable because a man can be so in love with a woman, that he is blinded to the fact that she doesn't loves him. Therefore, he is inspired by his love for her and not her love for him. I could add nother sign to the list and make it 10 or it could be number 9 😊. But when a woman loves a man, she seeks his opinion! I feel a woman seeking a man's opinion is the ultimate sign of trust and respect. As we know, a woman who respects a man, will continue to love that man. 🙏

I'm seeing men open up to female friends, but not to women that they've jumped into a relationship with. This is making me think that men are listening to what society tells them to look for in a woman to marry, instead of listening to their heart. Men are choosing celebrity wannabes to have as arm candy instead of a woman they actually share a real connection with.

Accountability. Reciprocation. I wish I was kidding when I say that I’m not sure that commonly exists nowadays. Don’t know where those women are, but for me, most women don’t communicate or reciprocate. And it’d be one thing if I was a “simp” but I’m not. It’s hard to find real quality. Respect, communication, love, affection, and chivalry are lost to the modern dating scene. “I want a gentleman” then they get one and take it all for granted. It’s madness right now. People acting so respectful and enthusiastic for 1-3 months only to turn around and do the opposite of every good quality they had that you fell for. It makes you go crazy.

I have become too mentally unstable dealing with her. I don't know Eben know what to do now that I'm not with her. This is my 2nd night away and I'm losing my mind. I know she is already entertaining other men. She told me so. And has nothing to say to me other then how I'm the issue and the reason for our problems. But I've been the only one making changes for years now I'm been jumping Through her hoops. And it is always something new why she isn't happy. Why I've pushed her to look outside our relationship for emotional needs. Idk why I'm spilling my guts here I have no one else to talk to.

Really feeling everything you said.. I'm a believer and have asked for discernment/wisdom from my Lord and savior and it's gonna break my heart so much 💔.. She's not in love with me even tho she says she love me.. I'm in love with with her though and it's not gonna be right.. I'm not getting a lot of those 9 points you brought up.. It's weird tho.. She's the one who came back to me.. Kinda at a loss for words rite now.. I do know what the Holy Spirit is telling me And it's hurting...Hasn't even been a month back with her and it's not rite

A woman once told me that she was in love with me, only to later tell me that she lied! So even if a next one thinks or says that and seemingly means it, I will not believe her.

I am not in love but all of these things is just who I am as a person. So I hold back in the beginning of dating because I don’t want to be taken advantage of. I introduce my love and energy slowly. Also I don’t want my loving you come off clingy

I’ve encountered a majority of these qualities from the last girl I dated. We dated for 5 months and it was awesome. Prior to meeting this girl, I did a lot of personal development. I manifested many qualities that I wanted in a new girl, and it came true. She would meet me half way on everything. She would play tennis with me. She would support my car racing hobby. She would meet me for lunch during work.She always wanted to see me during the week. She would also cook me dinner, or bake me cookies, etc. And of course I reciprocated the same energy to her because it was so natural to do kind things for her and with her. Sadly, we broke up last weekend. I got a text, saying that she wasn’t ready for a full relationship and she didn’t want to go further. It is unfortunate and will take some time to heal, but I am grateful for the moments we shared together. I guess the moral of the story is: you must enjoy the moments that you have with someone because we’ll never know when it will come to an end.

IMO the moral is “Don’t date unless you’re ready to commit.” Honestly, it’s irresponsible. I’m sure she meant well, but if she isn’t ready, and she seems like it to you, she hurt you. Better to know now that after a year, but 5 months should be long enough to at least say “yeah I’m committed”. To date let someone fall in love with you, only to take it away because you’re not ready is pretty crappy.
@ChristianStefanovich2 жыл бұрын
@@caurbine1228 I agree. After 4 or 5 months, you should know if you want to commit or not. Maybe she’ll come back, but I think it is better to move forward and focus on myself. Thanks for your feedback.
@caurbine12282 жыл бұрын
@@ChristianStefanovich yeah. It’s just selfish. But at least she told you. But that’s 5 months of time you could have been working on yourself or open to someone else so hopefully there’s lessons you got from it. I just got out of a 6 month relationship that was amazing in the beginning. We aligned of almost everything and I was careful to be sure it wasn’t fabricated by her. Then she got cold. Withheld intimacy. Made excuses. Started pushing me away for no reason. Disrespecting me and the relationship. The final straw was when she lied about going to a party, didn’t invite me, and was totally unapologetic. She was a big waste of time. The lesson I learned is to never give anyone the benefit of the doubt unless they earn it.

But if the woman needs change,is it not right to try and change that any way possible, especially with a serious issue such as spending, medication, or just being raised lazy, and the older the woman,the harder change comes, but for me,I'm seeing change as a result of several separations over a 5 year marriage. I know it sounds crazy,but I feel I have taught an old dog,new tricks, we are both between 55&60, but now we have both surrendered our differences and we both know our past,it's not present today due to these vital lessons learned, basically things a good man cannot tolerate. High values from a good man has been proven to change a woman with bad habits, fault's,and or addiction's.❤

@@TheBestOfLisaRenee have you tried to write him a letter?
@TheBestOfLisaRenee2 жыл бұрын
@@nikclo9907 Thank you for suggesting this. I do love to write. I did buy a card to send him, but I chose to call instead. I needed to hear his voice. He did answer while working, but I felt disrespectful, because he was busy. He’s been away on business, since early July. He’s on a task force team and working 15 hours and more a day, in a different time zone. He said that I did not push him away, but we use to communicate every day, and now I hear nothing. He told me to let it go. I sent a few more text, but he did not respond. The Lord told me to be still and not to reach out again; seek Him only for three months, and not to accept a date from anyone. I cannot contact him again, much to my dismay. I would be happy to write him. How it would heal me to see his face and to hear his voice. There is a fine line between humility and humiliation. There’s nothing more I can do. He’s silent. I pray for him, and he’s constantly on my mind. I appreciate the scripture that says “Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.” I just cannot know what that joy will look like.
