We all love Fergus and his little problems, but maybe time for a more reliable van, keep Fergus for local trips in Ireland? You looked really stressed stuck in Palma, your very brave doing such long trips, great adventures and good content with Fergus, I love my T25 and it's a great weekender but 1000s of miles from home? You need reliably.

Glad you figured that out. Happy to see the smiles at the end of the video! Fergus just needs a bit more TLC due to his age. In my experience, when a engine overheats, it also causes the thermostat to go bad and i usually need to replace it along with the repair of what caused it to overheat. after all the issues, i think Fergus is much better than when you guys started. Keep Calm and keep going! Palma looks nice, i miss the food in Spain...

At 17.06 on the video it looks you were in Calla Millor stayed their last year love Majorca and back in the 90's had a lad's fortnight in Magaluf the highlight going to Golds and watching Tony Hadley from Spandau Ballet doing his set and a foam party good memories

Ahh never a dull moment that's for sure! Might have to sell Veronica 🤣🤣🤣 Mallorca is lovely but for vanlife it's a bit over crowded and touristy. The campsite was closed but its expensive when opened. Only 2 places on the island to empty water etc which is a pain. You can wildcamp yes but a lot of the time we were outside hotels etc.. We expected it to be nicer to be honest

I just love the enthusiasm that you both have.Never loose that zest for life and adventure.Youre only young once so enjoy it Have you ever considered entering Fergus into a banger rally(no offence to dear old Fregie hes loveiy really) we did the Benidorm or Bust a few years ago in and old 1985 vauxhall astra. It was one of the most fun 5days we've ever had and would make a super cool video.If you do ill only charge a small finders fee😂😂 Also are we gonna get a Fergus calender in time for Christmas 😊

I thought she might burst into tears… 😭 Mind you, she did say you’re hot though! 😂 As discussed, I really doubt he was actually overheating, but with the thermostat out you know you’re safe. Just don’t forget to refit before winter - are you still changing the sensors? You guys really need to go somewhere cooler to avoid overheating all the time, Sweden, Norway (even UK 🤞🏻) maybe? The water in Majorca looked incredible though. Norwegian water is even more as clear, but a bit cooler…. Fewer thunderstorms, more snow….. Northern Lights….

@@ShaneandAneVanLifeSubaru engines are terrible idea. Not reliable. I don’t rate VW either tbh but plenty of 2.0 diesel and petrol engines out there for less than €1K. Big job I know but be a lot more reliable. Don’t think buying a new van will automatically mean reliability either. Unless it’s a Toyota, the word reliability and van should not exist in the same sentence.
