Our neighbor's cat, Ashes, is an outside cat, too. She started hanging out at our house a year ago, and we'd give her treats because she killed the outside mice. Then we let her come in to visit. Because of bad winter weather she wouldn't go home so I bought cat food to give her. I didn't know the neighbor's only gave her the dog's food. A year later, she has adopted us and thinks this is her home. The cat food might help. My mother is 82 and lost her cat when she had to move here to live with us because she was very ill. Ashes sleeps with her, and it has been very good for my mom.

@maryrobie4752 We are so upset. Ashes got a wound above her eye. We told her owners about it. They said they'd take a look at it. A couple of days later, when Ashes came back here, the wound was worse and smelled infected. I called them and told them she was here and worse. I found out they hadn't bothered looking at it. They sent their 12 yo over to get her. They put her down. Our hearts are so upset. She meant more to us than them. I still keep looking for her to come down the driveway to our door. PS. I should add that she was still their cat and had control over what happened with her. We should have asked them if we could keep her so we could have taken her to the Vet.

It must be one of those weeks. Yesterday my daughter went into the hospital for mental health issues. She was bullied in school. She knew enough that she needed it. Please say some prayers for her. Sometimes with sausage and peppers, I use up any leftover baked potatoes or red potatoes (sliced or chunks) in the skillet cooked with the other ingredients. I cook it until the peppers and onions caramelize and it is so good!!!

We love using naan for pizza, if we’re not going the traditional dough route. The garlic naan is especially good! Mini naan are perfect for a pizza party or when you want a few different flavor options. 😊

Another way for salsa is to take a can of petite or diced tomatoes and salsa mix and mix them together and fresh salsa whenever you want.

I also make the smoked sausage, peppers & onions but use a teriyaki sauce at the end to coat the sausage and veggies once they are browned. Serve this over rice, it’s quick and easy too! Love your recipes here, good ideas when you’re drawing a blank about what’s for dinner. Thanks for all you do!

They even use bagels 🥯 to make pizza bagels with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni, seasonings & they are yummy. We are not big on the sauce. But we love Alfredo sauces it works out great! This is so much like one of our family favorites. The original recipe called for white wine, but i subbed apple juice and mustard of choice. I serve it with Pierogis steamed then sauteed in butter. My husband's most requested recipe...love your recipes and family banter!

I use the sausage with potatoes, carrots, onions, mushrooms, and garlic. I season with salt and pepper and some Worcestershire sauce. Only takes about 10 minutes to cook.

Mandy & Steve I'm a relatively new subscriber and I love your videos! I've tried a few of your dishes. The family's favorite bright now is the turkey casserole with the stuffing. Naan bread is amazing for pizzas. We've done a Metertranean inspired pizza that has the pre chopped garlic with some of the liquid as the base, then spinach and fresh basil (chopped), katamala olives, feta( we go light on this), diced tomatoes, mozzarella, then garnish with parsley.
