Thanks for the video. Perhaps Thai instrument background would’ve been better than the Polynesian ukulele?

I'm planning to visit Sukhothai and Kamphaeng Phet in next week, but I'm not sure how many day is enough. Can you give me some advices?
@ArtThomyaJourney8 жыл бұрын
3 days 2 nights in Sukhothai. You can follow what I've done : kzbin.info/www/bejne/i6OchaOPeJV6rqc For Kamphaeng Phet, it should be next to Sukhothai and another 2 nights should be good. So, altogether 5 days 4 night at least.
Any chance of making video on Nakhon Sri Thammarat? Not often narrated that it used to be the capital of Indonesia (then Srivijaya)

all this stuff at Wat MahaThat is not influence from Khmer, its from Sri Lanka ? The Chedi is obviously Lanka style. I didn't see anything in Bayon ,or Pranakorn art style there.

Khmer civilization isn't original. It's just the middle of things. The Khmer managed to invade and captured many kingdoms around once about thousand years ago. All the civilizations around south east Asia started over 2,000 years ago. In Thailand alone, there were Dvaravati, Lavo and Chiang Saen which are all older than Khmer and Dvaravati even originated Khmer arts and architectures. Now the Cambodians who aren't educated claim they're the origin of all civilizations around, that's ridiculous but to no surprise , some of them even claim Khmer is the origin of the universe. They don't even know all their lost civilization is initially started from India and travel through Sri Lanka and Indonesia.

Sukhothai was influenced by Lavo culture in central Thailand not Khmer. The historian believes that the King of Sukhothai has been study at Lavo Kingdom which is Lopburi city right now. Lavo is a city in Davaravati culture before influenced by Khmer arts and it is origin of Sukhothai and Ayutthaya Kingdoms.

INCORRECT! Thailand Laos and Cambodia were one country as Siam in 7 centuries. Started from 800 years ago, when the Khmer empire was declined, Cambodia was always a territory of Sukothai, Ayuthia, Thonburi, and Ratanakosin (Bangkok). Stop propagating your false history!
