Chris played great in all the series that SWISHOUT blamed him for, except 2012 vs the Spurs. In 2013 Blake Griffin got injured, and Chris Paul played great other than in game 4 of that series. In 2014, Chris Paul played great in the series vs the Thunder besides in the last minute of game 5 vs OKC, where the Refs made several terrible calls. In 2016, CP3 and Blake both got injured, and in 2017, Blake got injured while CP3 played great in the series against the Jazz. He is a great playoff player, he's just been very unlucky. Sure, he's not quite on Steph Curry's level, but people who put Westbrook, Harden ahead of him are just being disrespectful. Of course SWISHOUT didn't mention Blake Griffin's injuries, because he wants to make himself look better. I understand that Chris Paul hasn't delivered at times in the big moments, but he has played great in every playoffs he's played in other than 2009, 2012, and 2019, where he was dealing with injuries.

@FireAngelChris4 жыл бұрын

@elijahruderman4 жыл бұрын
@@charlescooks9360 That was literally his own bad game of the series. CP3 is almost always great in elimination games besides that one. If CP3 played in the East all these years, he'd do way better. The Clippers could've beaten the Heat in 2014 and the Cavs in 2015 if they were in the East. 2015 game 5 was bad timing, and even with a terrible turnover by CP3, and then a ball that was clearly out on Reggie Jackson - but they called it out on Matt Barnes I think, and then Westbrook Chuck's up a three - and Chris Paul, who barely touches him gets called, for a foul. Westbrook makes all 3, but CP3 still has like 6 seconds left. He got some space from his defender - I forget who - and instead of shooting patented elbow jumper - which he's the highest percentage shooter of this decade in that area, he's also the highest volume shooter from that area in the 2010s decade, and he's one of the best midrange shooters ever - but he decides to drive in and probably was planning on doing that weird off balance game winner that he did against the Spurs and the Grizzlies - but he loses control - and although there was some minimal contact from Kendrick Perkins - or whoever he was driving at - it's one of those strips that the refs don't call at the end of the game. Literally everything had to wrong for the Clippers and right for OKC to win that game. It's just unfortunate because although the Clippers likely would've lost to the Spurs if they won game 7 in OKC, it would've cleared a milestone for CP3 so ignorant people that have no context of most of his playoff situations wouldn't be able to point at that lacking on his resume.

All in the first round. - Now imagine if he gets drafted by DET. That squad would allow Melo to flourish. Being that they were unselfish. - They also needed offense, so Melo could be their go to guy. Sheed, Billups, Rip would be great for him. Though they already won the championship that year, - 04-05 he would improve and he would be what they needed to beat SA in 7. Winning a FMVP. Now it sets up a showdown in the 05-06 ECF against Dwade & Shaq. - Now by the age of 22 Melo is seen in a HOF light as he is the midst of building a dynasty. - Maybe he even ends up being the third man for The heat since they were already talking this in Beijing in 08. - Now if he does joint the The Heat I believe they beat Dallas in 2011 and SA in 2014. - And Now he’s the New Age Lord Of the Rings

He played some heavyweights in the early 2000s like the Pistons (who beat Shaq/Kobe led Lakers), Dwade / Shaq led Heat (champs) and LeBron’s mid 2000s Cavs. BUT I agree I wish he was more dominant the year with the Magic because they had a legit team and chance to win a title but his role completely changed. Sadly, Van Gundy simply used Vince as a spot up 3 pt shooter and he was only 32 years old with gas left in the tank

there comes a point where u have to stop it with injuries. Cause if u injured every year, then you ain't reliable and you aren't superstar

This video= straight facts. Winning a ring is a team effort, if you don't have a good one I can't blame you for not being successful, but not showing up when it matters the most it's just unacceptable.

Idk if y’all would still refer to Steve Francis as a star, but man only played in 5 playoff games in his career. You can do the math to figure out how many of those he won

@@773ohh6 I don't know if Gay was ever really seen as a "star." I guess playing for terrible teams for most of his career has something to do with that

Cp3 has fumbled a few moments in the playoffs and he is also ‘unlucky’ but he also has epic playoff moments with every team he has played for , while always upping his playoff avgs compared to his season avgs.

tmac is honestly lucky he played before social media was as big as it is now. guys like harden, simmons, and derozan get killed for their playoff performances, and they've at least consistently made it to the second round. tmac was considered one of the top elite players in prime. like imagine if curry never won a playoff series. he'd be a meme.

In 2015, 2013, and 2014 (besides for that ONE turnover) it wasn’t really CP3’s fault though. In 2015 he was injured for a lot of that rockets series, and in 2013 and 14, he didn’t really underperform. The only time he did was in 2012 when the spurs were just a better team, but that was the only series you brought up CP3’s numbers
@qbincashion80584 жыл бұрын
That game 5 of 2014 was more then just 1 turnover. He had 2 turnovers and fouled someone on the three to go down 1. Now I can say that the Westbrook foul was extremely questionable but the 2 turnovers and not even getting a shot up in those lasts 7 seconds is not ok

Vince was nearly 35-year-old and past his prime at Orlando Magic.
@qbincashion80584 жыл бұрын
U clearly didn’t listen to the context he used. First he wasn’t 35 he was 33. Second the year before he went to Orlando he averaged almost 21 on the nets. The magic brought him thinking he could be that last piece that could b a veteran presents while still being a quality star to help them get over that lakers help. Similar to how the pistons picked up Rasheed Wallace for the 2004 championship or Tyson chandler for the mavs in 2011. Neither to be stars but to bring that it factor to get the ring.

I don’t agree with Cp3 part he typically Plays Great in the playoffs and rise his game. Sure he has some moments but he also has his fair share of unlucky moments with injuries. I seen him beat the defending champion spurs on 1 leg.
