I have a Breville Grind Control and I think it can't be beat, we brew our Café Britt Espresso every morning in it and everyone who has tried the coffee from this machine raves about how good it is. I also like the 20 oz. cup brewing too, it makes an even better cup due to the dwell time in the infusing step. It's been doing a great job for about 7 years!

I just bought the BREVILLE GRIND control (#1spot). I had some research on temperature, brew control features and ability to brew one cup, travel cup or full carafe. Apparently I did well because it earned the top spot!

Goes with the name. I like cups and my husband likes a pot of coffee. Perfect for us.

I’ve been using the Black & Decker for several years now (currently in Iron Man red!) and it makes a totally decent pot of coffee for daily consumption, provided you use quality, locally roasted coffee beans and filtered water. They are regretfully not built to last, maybe three to four years, so when the blade dulls or a carafe breaks or a plastic latch fails, you’re going to have to replace the whole thing. That being said, you can do this six times for less than the price of a Cuisinart. I am Breville-curious, however.

We need to get rid of those K-Cup coffee makers out there flooding our markets with their junk

We love our Capresso 465 CoffeeTeam TS, however, we find the thermal carafe doesn't keep the coffee hot for very long. We enjoy two cups of coffee most mornings and it is frustrating to have to brew two separate pots within the hour or so every morning. We've even tried sealing the lid between the pot with cellophane with no improvement. Evidently, the carafe is not well insulated. We're now considering purchasing the Breville DBC650BSS, but we hope we don't find the same problem. Any thoughts?

Did you end up getting the Breville DBC650BSS? I looked at a bunch of reviews and was a little discouraged on the design of the carafes (hard to pour out the content out of it) and the grinder needs cleaning after a few pots made and it's very difficult to clean the grinder. If you purchased it, do you find this to be the case?

for the Breville, It shows 8oz for the 1 cup but it only produces 5.5 - 6oz, I know that a cup of liquid is 8oz but a cup of Coffee is really 6oz, is it just taking 8oz of water and with the output because of the grinds bringing it just down to 6?
@naughtysauce43232 жыл бұрын
If you're doing the measurements yourself, then yes some water is left behind as the grinds soak up the water. That's why I prefer either a french or Aeropress, hardly any water lost.

@@naughtysauce4323 I pair a Breville Smart Grinder Pro with a Ninja CFP-301. They make an excellent cup.

The original cuisinart grind n brew shown in the beginning was the best. Every model since then is a pice of shit. Stay away and don’t waste your money.

We had the Cuisinart DGB-900 for over 7 years and it only failed a few weeks ago. Despite all efforts to clean and restore it, the motor will no longer engage to turn the basket cover (which starts the process of either grinding or brewing). Overall that model shown in this video was the absolute best coffee maker I've ever had and it certainly outlived my expectations. I will be buying an identical unit and hopefully will get another 7 years out of it with good cleaning and care.
