It's different for everyone. I got a '24 LX. I couldn't be happier with my car. I got AWD and the color i wanted. Great ride, good milage, not expensive, and i think it has a lot of room. I love my car.

Most subcompact vehicles aren't very sporty unless you use a turbocharged Mazda CX-30. But that is a reasonably expensive

Unattractively vehicle with a belt/chain design CVT - no thanks. Looks more like an uninspired family station wagon than a crossover.
