Ummm… tuxedo isn’t a breed. It’s a color way. Tuxedo markings can occur in many different breeds of cat. A Turkish Van with tuxedo markings will have the characteristics of the Turkish Van breed. A Scottish Fold with tuxedo markings will have characteristics of the Scottish Fold breed. I feel like I’m rambling, but the videos on this channel are so misleading.

Tuxedo cats are no different from any other domestic cats. The tuxedo is created by hair coat genes and has nothing to do with distinguishing this from other cats in terms of personality, or other cat properties!

I have been found by a tuxedo cat and I adopted him or he was dead . He is not more difficult than any other cat I have. Actually very friendly and extremely communicative. If you make a video with a dumb title saying " do not get this cat type or that one " you are directly responsible for the death of some poor cats that could have had a family right before winter or families that abandon their cats at a park somewhere. You get that?!

Some of these are not tuxedos... tuxedo is a reference to the black suit white shirt humans wear and so it means a mostly black cat with a white bib or underside. Not randomly mixed black and white. I had have 2 tuxedos and my sister had 1. Of the 3 cats, 2 were highly aggressive, scratching, biting, hissing. One was male one was female. I also had a male who was the most loving, cuddly and intelligent cat i ever had. They are extremely varied in terms of personality so id advise not to get a tuxedo kitten until their personality is known if you have children or other pets
