Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

That's exactly how it is. I've always found that the people who are poor are usually poor in mindset (negative; of course, that doesn't describe all people, just a generalization), which is why they are where they are. I also generally find that people who are more well off are generally kinder, nicer, gentle, and supportive. In the end, you just have to choose to believe in your goals and do what you know is right. Your goals are scary for them, because their minds are limited to lack, so they like to say "you can't do it"

I think there's one more characteristic, though it may be related to competitive. Risk takers. You absolutely have to take risks. I think this is one area in which the US still leads. The reason the US remains a leader in innovation is because we still have a culture that values risk. You see this in Japan too. Compared to China with its more rigid, fall-in-line views, is slow to innovate. This value in risk is why the US has places like Silicon Valley.
@teencred94302 жыл бұрын
I think learning goes with risk-taking. For one thing, if you're an avid learner, you're not gonna hesitate to ask the harder questions. Already, there's a bit of fearlessness and obsessiveness involved in there. Then, because you took the extra steps to find the ins and outs of, say, a risky investment, you have a better perspective of what the risk looks like. In another video, PBD talked about "making the big small"; learning is part of that when it comes to risks. In fact, knowing that you don't know things buy are willing to learn it IS taking a risk.

I have about half of these traits. When I was younger, i had the rest but they were squashed. I have trouble making any friends or finding mentors though. I was better in school than anyone else. I wouldn't stop in school until I got my PhD. Yet, I still burn with a need to learn and my life is curiosity. I also need to finish everything I start. I need to be the best of the best in everything but I failed so many times that i despise competition with a passion. Credible people seem to always believe in me for some reason. I'm still obsessed trying to figure out why I fail socially though. Quitting is not an option but it burns me why I can't figure it out. I agree Arvin, there are some entrepreneurs that were fine with school. Although if you look at the majority of millionaires, I think that most of them had the entrepreneurial spirit in school too, and didn't like it very much. Plus they didn't have the internet, so weren't exposed to the actual facts about the entrepreneurial road that we are - therefore they had no reason to dislike it, and the internet didn't provide them with alternative opportunities due to how difficult making a business was without the internet in comparison at a young age

I was going to disagree with you about the competitive point because I’m not really competitive then I stopped for a second and I realized that my argument favored yours. I consider myself passionate. And with the things I am passionate about I have an assassin mindset. “I’m going to study you and understand how you do things then I’ll get you!” This is really insightful. Thanks.

the 3rd point also i would disagree to. because not every successful person has had rich friends around him or successful ones. many have kept their grounds low and have had friends that are unsuccessful and poor also and yet come out to be successful. my logic for this after my experience is that successful peers among us try boosting their ego, trying to show off and act arrogant at times. whereas put in that place the unsuccessful ones or the poor people and they are down to earth and will always tend to stand by your side whenever you need them. this os my experience about life

Man I fit into all this 1) at my internship I had a close relationship with the founder but if any other intern talked to the founder I would always question “why?”. Almost to the point of professional jealousy. I then outwork them more and more. I found out recently I am now at the top of the intern pool for a potential career. 2) I always find the most efficient way to finish things. I hate the time consuming hard way. I want the hard work from figuring out the method then implementing the task in a flow state 3) All my friends have stable jobs at the moment except me yet everything I’ve done has always been about finding myself professionally and the world around me (internships, being stronger in the gym, watching valuable videos, attending networking events, freelancing, etc). 4) my mind never stops to the point of near insomnia. I’m always obsessive over what I should be doing, who I am, what I want, the future, etc. 5) All my professional mentors and my family never said “you have potential” but they said direct areas where they see me in the future. 6) I stopped reading for awhile but whenever I read a book before, I could never put it down. 7) again, I obsess, sometimes unhealthily to the point of anxiety. I want to start my own business and I’m obsessed with the idea of it.

Alot of people say they have to have it, and that there obsessive. But most don't even truly know what have to have it means, it can be destructive to other areas of life. your willing to put yourself in hard situations just to get it at any moment, you are willing to do what ever it takes and will be willing to die and won't care what others think. Because without it life means NOTHING.

There are many other factors that play a crucial role in reaching success and everyone goes through different experiences and meets different people along the way ..The characteristics that made Richard Branson successful are not the same as the ones that made Trump successful .. Here are my 7 signs that you are gonna be successful in life : 1-) Self-awareness 2-) Having a curious mind 3-) Being committed versus interested 4-) Self- discipline 5-) Self-esteem 6-) Self -love 7-) The ability to not give a rat’s ass about what other people think of you.
