Even though it’s just another day of the week, for some reason, starting a new year always holds a lot of promise. You’ve shed the weight of the old year - the frustrations, the losses, the goals missed - wiped the slate clean, and have a fresh shot at hitting your 2024 goals.
Unfortunately, by mid-January, most people are already well on their way to missing their goals for the year.
Fortunately, we have some advice to help make sure that you’re not one of those people.

My goals for 2023 were. 1. Play 100 live shows. 2. Release 4 songs. 3. Put out 2 music videos. I didn't end up putting out any music videos, but I played 104 shows, and I released not 4, but *8* songs (two EPs, which were pressed by DiscMakers)!! Thanks for advocating for the indie artists.

Thanks, Tony, one thing: you should write down strategy, goals, plans, and schedules. Define for each goal measurable success criteria. My 2024 Marketing Plan is ready on 7 pages. Besides my wife, I share it with my support team, who will help me to achieve my goals. The team is the managers of my music label, advertising agency, booking agent, media reps, and a friend, who is a professional marketing expert
