Jokes aside, I've been in solitude for a couple days, almost a week. Staying away from social media (facebook, twitter) was one of the best decisions I've made as it provides nothing for me, neither the people on that platform. I had nothing to lose, so why worry about something that has no actual benefit in my (probably yours too) life? It doesn't feels as lonely as i thought and i also have more time to improve on my singing and get more sleep! Time is valuable.

I know right,last year my phone was jacked for about 9months and within that time frame when I went to school my grades had improved dramatically. I would still see and talk to my friends at school,they asked what happened to my phone and I told them it malfunctioned. I saw a grieved look on their faces but I was cool without social for that long and it did me spectacular wonders! Imo social media is just a mood killer,it kills your self-esteem when you see your friends hanging out with another,while sometimes ignoring you. Be a lone wolf and make your dreams work; I know that I'm doing better overall without it :)

Without paying much attention, I've started saying "no" often, when i want of course, i started setting boundaries. It was very difficult to do as a people pleaser since i grew up with no opportunity to set my boundaries, i always expected people to be mad and disappointed at me for doind so, and before you say no these thoughts will come and you'll feel very unpleasant, but take the leap and set your boundaries and you'll feel amazing afterwards. And if people are mad or disappointed or don't respect your boundaries, then they were benefiting from the lack of them.

@@izukats1633 Yeah i understand that internet is distracting. But there's something called sleep cycle. Do you care more about internet than your sleep ? It's summer so sleep early and wake late then. Sleep for 10 to 12 hours no problem. I have never stayed up late because I can't stay awake at night. Other reason is that my parents won't allow it. We sleep in same room so we go to sleep together (on different beds of course). I go to sleep at 11:30 and wake up at 9:30 and get almost 10 hours to sleep.

1) Start your morning off by making your bed. Each and every day. 2) Quit social media. There are more important things in life than memes and what your friends ate for dinner. 3) Keep your personal living space clean and tidy. Staying organized is one of the keys to success. 4) If you can only make time for one meal each day, let it be breakfast. 5) Give yourself ample time to get where you need to go, whether it be work or school. You'd be amazed at how much of a difference heading out of the door 5 minutes earlier will do for you. 6) Find a hobby or something you can enjoy on your leisure time other than videogames or binge watching TV. 7) Go on a vigorous 20 minute walk if you're feeling tired or unmotivated. It'll give your body a jumpstart and allow you to brainstorm ideas and plan your week. 8) Reading is exercise for your brain. It'll expand your vocabulary and offer a pathway to greater knowledge. 9) Don't be afraid to try new things. Go to a restaurant that you normally wouldn't go to, or a public event. A farmers market, for example. 10) Music is therapy. If you're feeling down there is no better cure than listening to some favorite tunes or even better, creating your own music. Chances are a lot of you have an instrument in your closet or under the bed collecting dust. And this is my list for a happy, stress-free, enjoyable life. God bless all 🙏

Gotta say i agree with these, the 1st one is quite effective... this year started with failled relationships and i got way too glued to instagram, this week i decided to put down the phone and my social anxiety slowly started to lift away, getting me back on my more finer moods. So that one definetly works! the journal one is also quite good, i tend to write wtf is going on my head when im depressed or anxious, on a paper while at work and it does clear my mind for a bit. So i can vouch for these 2 points! and srsly, the phone is a damn problem, put it down and go explore or something xD

However, I've realized that, after taking two weeks off from the app (I'm still taking a break from it and I just got out of school), it is much better to focus on myself, acknowledge my thoughts and emotions, and to be myself and focus on my goals rather than worrying and obsessing over what someone who is not me is doing with their life! Okay so it's been a month I avoid social media alot I don't take my phone along with me when I go on walks or I'm with my family even I've been selective on social media and it fcking helped me sm I even cleared out all the contacts which drained me I feel so much better and energetic now even my sleep schedule has improved immensely and I can actually focus in the present and stay mindful prolly the best change I've ever made !!!! ✨

The first time I realised I had anxiety was back in 2018. My solution:Block it out as much as can. But the more I tried to block it out the more I felt drained. Felt like i was shivering all day even though it was summer. The thoughts kept pouring in my brain and i couldn't stop them. I questioned if I'll ever feel happy or even calm again. After a few days when things weren't getting any better I told my mom about it. She listened to me and then said Honey you can't block out thoughts, let them come in, hear them out and then let them go. You can't let anything go if you haven't acknowledged it first. That's when I understood bit by bit that I couldn't hide from my thoughts. Hiding and escaping gave way to fear and I didnt wanna live in fear all my life. So I tried it....Acknowledged my thoughts , took a deep breath and then tried to let them go....wasn't easy, isn't easy but we learn and get better by practice each day and that gives me hope💜 P.S. I'm so glad I found this channel..truly one of the best❤

Dear Psych2Go Team, I've always been scared from the dark and a few month ago I realised that also staying at home all alone makes me scared, so I always try to distract myself by putting my headphones on and either watching something or listening to music. Yesterday I found out that when I close the lights I hear noises and I had heavy breathing and I know it's just in my head but they really scare me so I had to cover my ears until I fell asleep. I am not sure what this is and what I should do, but could you maybe explain it in some way if it has something to do with psychology?

I'm currently experiencing the effects of not saying No enough. I have 2 jobs (technically 3-1/2 but only 2 that I'm doing currently) and at my evening job they want me to work much faster than I'm capable of. So I was removed from an assignment that I really enjoyed and given two smaller assignments-- though one or the other would have been plenty, and two is just overwhelming, but the new operations manager gave me what she thought I was capable of (she was my direct supervisor before getting promoted so she had a clue, but want familiar with my unique situation). Tonight I made the worst error I could possibly have made, and she said, "Don't take this wrong, but you're in over your head," which I really should have told her when I realized she was turning my one overwhelming assignment into two smaller but still overwhelming ones. I don't like not being able to live up to my potential, nor do I enjoy admitting that a perceived kindness results in asking too much of me.

Here is a tip! You don't need to write your journal every single day and you don't need to write anything if you are feeling tired. Stay hydrated!
@mansitambade67303 жыл бұрын
If you dont feel to express by writing do smthng else to channelise or to say your feelings and emotions. Dont leave unprocessed emotions inside you. It is not healthy to be tired of expressing yourself.

I usually talk my strong feelings to myself, out loud, because I don’t really like writing my feelings down because someone will find them and just read it. Say, is this another healthy way or do I really need to write them down?

To each their own, there is no wrong or right way. It feels good then there is no issue so no worries, its a matter of preference and what works best for you since everyone is different and has different needs❤
@asouders60173 жыл бұрын
It helps to do what feels right for you. If you do want to journal but don’t want any prying eyes then use one of the many online journaling sites that are password protected. Or if you like to just speak out loud like you said then maybe a audible journal entry in your phone every day. Maybe you will find what works best for you. Good Luck! 🌟

…1… put your phone on silent & face down 2:05 I don’t use social media to begin with.
