Just over a year ago, my daughter had a positive test. Lots of symptoms. We treated it naturally( herbs and supplements) aggressively with a very pure organic diet. Lots of sleep. She is lyme free... :)

I'm happy to hear your daughter got well. Can you let me know what exactly your daughter used to treat herself or even what sources of information she used to overcome it? Thank you.

Hi Cheryl, I will get back to you on that. It is a big list. We followed most of the protocol in Stephen Buhner's book except no antibiotics. It also takes a lot of work mentally. You are going to have to work on postive thoughts. There are to many people in this field that will keep you sick just by telling you very negative things. I use the saying "This Shall To Shall Pass" buhnerhealinglyme.com/read-the-book/

Hi Sue... I think I might have Lyme. All the symptoms are the same. anxiety, depression, pins and needles everywhere, especially left side of the head and body, some days very fatigued for no apparent reason. Headaches.. I'm 26 but my parents were travel agents, so we used to travel a lot. I might have bitten but I might not know. not sure. I tested for Lyme with blood test but it came out negative. There is so much confusion about testing and I have litterally no idea how to be completely sure if it's Lyme or not. I booked a brain MRI scan with contrast. will that show Lyme ? thank you so much

Hey Sue, if you don’t mind me asking did your daughter have “mysterious” symptoms for years until she got tested positive? My doctor says since I have had it for years, herbs alone won’t be strong enough to kill it. I will need IV antibiotics. I probably had it for 5-8 years

I'm currently on my second round of antibiotics and have been dealing with LD for almost 3 years. After the first round I was better but symptoms never went away and then the symptoms slowly got much worse. I went to an infectious disease doctor that told me that because I took the antibiotics I no longer have LD and these symptoms must be from something else. He said there is no such thing as chronic LD. I thought I was crazy for awhile but I didn't want to believe that the pain, cognitive problems and fatigue were all in my head. My problem has been finding a doctor that's Lyme literate. The only one in my area that I found doesn't accept insurance so I would have to pay up front and submit it to the insurance and hope they help pay for treatment. I honestly can't afford that because I have not been able to work for a long time now. Some days it feels like a loosing battle but I'm hoping I make it through without permanent damage.

Most Lyme literate doctors don’t accept insurance anyway. I’d try to go with an herbal program, but know it will take a few years to get rid of it. Not fun!

Look into the GAPS nutritional protocol please!! This can actually help you heal. It’s a deeper issue that resides in your gut because of the tick infection. Healing your gut will most definitely heal Lyme disease! Chronic Lyme DOES exist and anyone who says otherwise should be punched in the face! At least that’s my opinion! Antibiotics only make it worse because it ruins your gut even more than it already is, killing any, and all beneficial bacteria you might’ve had. Make sure and take a good quality probiotic and eat organic!! Yes, it really is that important! ❤

Look up an organization called ILAD or ILADS. It's a Lyme-specific organization dedicated to getting the latest, most accurate information out to the public. They may have a listing of Lyme specialusts you can contact that will take insurance. Best of luck to you!

So I was diagnosed but the conventional treatment left me unwell, very sick for six years now. It is eating my nerves, affecting my eyes, memory. I am suffering every moment. Doctors offer psychiatric drugs, hormone replacement or statins but will not address the Lyme. I would not wish this on anyone except those that have the power to help but won’t.

I got my tick bite between 1982 and 1984 I had lots of symptoms through the years and I wasn’t diagnosed until 30 years later in 2013. I was on my Minocycline and Metronidazole for nine months. On nothing for 4 months until it returned and attacked my nervous system. My Doctor since has had me on CBD and a natural medicine antibiotic though he takes me off the natural medicine antibiotic once or twice a year. Long term use of antibiotics eats away at the brain. But without natural medicine antibiotic I’d be dead in a few years. For those thinking pharmaceutical antibiotics are evil or really bad for you,,, you need to be aggressive treating Lyme as it’s a very smart disease and you might as well hit the disease with a hammer.

My daughter is seeing a chiropractor who is now in all doing naturopathic medicine and many great reviews I know my daughter's on all kinds of support for immune system and gut and you name it she is getting a muscle test and then she is having codes that are slowly getting eliminated of being reactive to line and also she had mold remediation with she had a newer home but she had that done as you know these patients like my daughter she had to quit her job she had to refinancing Mortgage in order to pay for Physicians and testing so she is writing all day like for months now and they they moved to a different area when the seemingly codes are not reactive and then and the muscle test then they go to another area I just wondered your opinion on that

Got diagnosed with Ms but have Lyme positiv tests. Don’t know what to expect or do. Did antibiotics but my neurologist says it is MS. Help
@brittanymaria-pi1vg
@brittanymaria-pi1vg Жыл бұрын
I’m sure Lyme disease caused the MS. Look up MS, it says due to bacterial, viral, or environmental factors. Lyme disease is a bacterial and it can cross blood brain barrier and give you MS symptoms. My opinion, the underlying cause which is the Lyme should be treated. If you correct the underlying problem you should see improvement. My neurologist said the same. I got with a functional medicine doctor and it helped a lot. They treat the underlying cause and don’t just slap a bandage on it like most traditional doctors these days.
@brittanymaria-pi1vg
@brittanymaria-pi1vg Жыл бұрын
From what I’ve observed, it seems like most traditional doctors are trained to think within a certain thought pattern and that is it! Just treat the symptom and let people’s health continue to decline.

Martin look into the GAPS nutritional protocol. It heals and seals your leaky gut which is the main cause Lyme disease gets so out of control. Fixing your leaky gut will heal Lyme, MS, Fibromyalgia, MCAS, chronic fatigue. Any “diagnosis” a Dr could possibly come up with!

Barbara Cormack The only way you were taking any remedy resembling mercury that might translate as a curative action would be as a homeopathic reedy eg.Merc. or Merc.Sol.(it might read as ) and probably then a fairly high trituration thereof . You SHOULD have all your treatments accurately recorded in a booklet and then look them up one at a time as you have the energy and are able.Be informed .Knowledge is power. Your body is your vehicle for this life nobody elses .Go to 'earthcure' sight as one recommendation but there are many.IF ,you are, for instance ,taking a homeopathic then get to understand the principles of homeopathics . I am a naturopath and a homeopath. DO increase your wisdom quota here and in the early stages to decode ask 4 help if you need it to do so. Much love to you . WHEN you have finally kicked Lyme ....look into perhaps taking Ledum 200 spread out and dissolved in water to act as a profalactic .You can put this in a horses' trough drinking water and the horses will not get Lymes although they may get bitten by a Lyme bearing tick...strongly recommend you get advice as to the frequency here so you don't end up proving the remedy .This will stop you getting Lymes again.
