I have searched through many tai chi videos to find something similar to what I was taught by a 73 year old Chinese master many years ago. I saw him increase the health of all who stayed with him. The fellow who came into class with serious difficulty with back trouble and chronic fatigue was freed from his illness and regained his life again. You have the same form as my old master. Remarkable. There is magic in movement correctly practiced. Thank you.

How can you tell this is correctly done? What is he doing that anyone could do? Tai chi is not about moving slowly. There is a lot more to it that needs to be taught and explained. This guy is not doing or teaching anything. He is just moving slowly with some calm music and a nice background. No wisdom.

I have had good luck choosing my own music on a you tube meditation music search. open two windows. one Jake. one the music of your choice. mute the video you are watching and set volume for the sound you chose. start both together, with video showing. I am sure you did just that... just wanted to share just in case. Jake is such a great teacher. He has helped me a lot, in self health goals. glad you shared.

FIRSTLY: Jake Maces' Combination of Moves are very beneficial for people with any digestion problems following surgery. Since I started his program I no longer suffer this. It is something to do with the breathing and stretching of the stomach area in his program. I had a full hysterectomy with ovary removal in 2014..This was one of the side effects. This particular video is VERY interesting for DOCTORS & SURGEONS to use to get people mobile again after all kinds of surgery in their clinics and hospitals & after child birth (8 step very slowly for the mothers for 10/15 minutes..no more & adapted according to the kind of birth they had..). New born babies also love peaceful zen music around in the hospital & at home afterwards; if the mothers go on with it. My hospital/clinic room was full of wave music, heart beats & peaceful sleep music after both my children...the nurses loved it, even if lots found it funny! Mothers can do it individually or in pairs etc, either in their rooms or in group sessions. It's great both physically & morally for them all. For children hospitalized it's wonderful as the movements have names like 'tiger' and 'bird', animal names derived from the core of this art and Tai Chi culture. SECONDLY: With the enormous MEDICAL PROGRESS today in the possibility of giving people artificial limbs, either partially or wholly, following illness, amputation or accident, these very slow motion movements, along with the breathing exercise (inhaling & exhaling) will start up the circulation in the existing body parts in order to help lift the new limbs with the attached parts or integrated parts. Practising just one movement one day..one arm..Another another day..another arm. And one by one lifting each limb with each or the artificial attachment, in order to be able to stand, walk and maybe later even run. THIRDLY: This video could be used in all the REFUGEE camps WorldWide to help the people who have suffered terrible crimes to humanity and devastating war to find psychological peace & phsyical well-being..if they have somewhere to access it & a screen. I imagine there is tremendous trauma in those camps..perhaps this kind of assistance could help appease this-little by little- all that is in those children's heads and in those of their mothers and fathers, and/or surviving families. Also in the ORPHANAGES for all the children who are constructing lives from absolutely nothing. FOURTHLY..all those like my brother who had a terrible motorbike accident. He has metal parts in his body so he is now as strong as 'Jaws' in James Bond but as he gets older he will need to exercise every part of his body and live a healthy lifestyle. This would be excellent for him and people like him. It can be done together as a family. I would like to do this with my children.. HEARTS 2 all people who have been through surgery and trauma of all kinds. With love to all Paris, the teams @ Clinic du Bien-Etre, London & Great Britain today and in particular to the Cockney areas Hey!... I tried learning a few of your phrases ..I will have a 'gin and lime' Today....!....AcquaHeart4MedicalProgress with Jakes Videos, & sending Peace, Beautiful Scenery & Tai Chi Zen 2 you all this month with yellow flowers, lovely music, turqoise rainbows, & Terry&Den.

I'm jumping back into tai chi after my local class was canceled in 2020 due to Covid, and your video is perfect as I'm still very much a beginner. One question - would it be possible to get rid of the ad interruption in the middle of the video and instead put it at the front (or is that up to KZbin to decide)? Thanks again - excellent video.

"Martial arts are made to preserve life not to destroy" people now a days always want to start picking a fight those said that they're training some martial arts for 10 years,20 years and so on don't you know that in the world nobodies perfect even if you're a perfectionist you can't perfect a thing or two you can only make better not perfect with all the attitudes you have I think you don't deserve to learn a thing or two in martial arts. If you're a good citizen or person why would start a fight if you can live in a peaceful way, what a damned person. Picking a fight even at social network just caught an attention how pitiful. Jake thanks for the efforts, live life to the fullest don't give a single time for those who are not worthy for even a minute or two.

I am a 76 year old Air Force veteran and I am taking tai chi to help maintain my balance. I like the Sedona tai chi exercises and feel more relaxed when I close my eyes, but then it is hard to keep track of when to stop on exercise. IS there ANY way to modify the Sedona tai chi video lesson to have a "music break or a "music signall" that tells the listener that a new exercise is beginning. Thank you.

As a Wu/Hao and Yang Style Tai Chi practitioner for 18 years, may I ask what Style this is? IMHO, the moves resemble Qigong more than Tai Chi, as they are separate, rather than a cohesive 24 or 108 movement Form that is more common in Tai Chi. Thank you.
