1. If you're saying that you have a hard time finding neutral while stopped, I'd say you need a shifter adjustment. Rev it up a bit to make it easier. 2. Not that there's ever any need to shift into neutral at a stop, since all safety experts tell us to always stop with the trans in 1st, clutch in, left foot on the ground, right foot on the brake.

Don’t know if this was mentioned in the previous video: something to explain car drivers is that getting on the bike is a process. You don’t just get in, turn the key, and drive off. With a bike it’s a method. Stow your gear of pack everything in a back pack. Slip on the helmet, glasses, gloves. Take off one glove because you left the key in your pocket. Start the bike, because it’s best to let the bike reach riding temperature. Set your music on your Bluetooth and secure the phone. Now get on, kick stand, first gear and you can go. Yup, it takes a whole lot longer than a car, but so worth it.

Oh dude, I've got plenty of these ... When you're riding past farm fields that have just laid manure... That's torture. Hitting a bee at 90mph is like being shot by a paintball. The seething hatred when the dude on the other bike doesn't return the wave. Lol. The paranoia when leaving your bike all alone with just a chain, alarm and a disk lock to protect it. It's never enough! The fear when parking in a gravel carpark.

Get a Harley. You can leave the ignition and forks unlocked, in a dark parking lot with no cameras, and disappear for hours on end, and it'll be there when you get back, untouched. @@e6ensperception Carbed bikes should have the fuel turned off after use to prevent fuel from flowing into the carb and possibly the intake if there is a float issue. If the fuel does flow into the intake and into an open valve it could create a hydro lock situation that can damage the engine. It also make it easier to prep for winter storage, turn off the fuel and let the bike run out of fuel so it does not go bad in the carb.

The last one you mentioned, the look back, I first saw it from the previous owner of the bike I just bought yesterday. (My first bike) I didn’t think much of it at first since I’ve done similar when selling my old car, but it wasn’t until I looked through the pack of service records and the pink slip that came with the bike that I noticed this guy was the only owner of the bike and judging by his age this was probably his first bike as well. He kept a detailed record of all service, maintenance, and parts receipts for the 10 years he owned the bike. Once I put two and two together I actually felt bad. If he loved this bike so much he wouldn’t want to sell it unless he desperately needed to. It really put things into perspective for me, and it makes me want to do my best to take as much care of this bike as this guy did, a metaphorical passing of the torch so to speak.

Is there anything that can compete with the sheer bliss of the lean, that glimpse of your reflection, or the look back at the bike? I have one word for you ..... tunnels.... car guys claim they understand the joyous sensation of their machines in a tunnel, but I am sorry, it is just not the same. Few things on your bike invoke such pleasure as the sounds you trigger speeding up, and yes sometimes slowing down while enveloped in a mass of rock or concrete. This just has to be on any future list Yammie.

52yrs of bike ownership. I loved the self canceling turn signals on my Suzuki 1100GS- E. All bikes should have them for safety --- Kick stand ignition cut out... Bad when trying to look cool while cranking over your bike in front of a Café - Done that (embarrassing.) Good if you've ever started off in a straight line, got to speed, and come up on a left hander - Done that (no witnesses.) They should have a cutout for when your forks are locked in case you try to make a full lock U-turn from a curb - Done that too (extremely embarrassing.) and a good way to experience high-siding. You learn from your mistakes. I know 'cause I'm still riding.

I have some 4x4 enthusiast friends that call themselves Cagers because all their crawlers have cages in them so there are a few non-riders out there that think they know the term. I pissed a few of them off when I explained they weren't special, all car drivers are Cagers...and it is kind of a derogatory expression. They stopped calling themselves that when I'm around ... I think it's funny. I also think it's funny when their crawlers are flipped on their backs "wheels up" like a turtle and I roll by on the same trail on my dual-sport and keep right on rolling. Lol!

Accidentally turning on the bright lights. Riding a bike around car traffic gives a sense that your vehicle is more nimble, powerful, and superior to the conventional type of transportation. Especially when breaking out at the head of the pack where you crank it open and run free. I have discovered ear plugs. What a difference it makes in my ability to maneuver and ride. They create like a buffer zone between you (you and your bike) and everything else. They reduce the distracting noises so all you hear is the muffled sound of your pipes and a little wind noise.
