Every tip rings true to me. A particular shout out for chair flying. If feels stupid when you start but it really helps cement the calls in your memory and makes all the comms go so much faster and cleaner. Nothing is more frustrating than waiting to call out a missile shot while your teammate has their mic keyed and they are saying "umm" and "ah..."

I've been running a multi-week training program for my group and I've been using your videos as recommended viewing before each mission. All your stuff has been invaluable, thanks for all them man.

Would love to see a video covering fox 1 tactics. Can't execute outs if your using semi active missiles for example.

The first one is very true. When I tried flying with 2 other friends, it was so chaotic that we decided to screw it and went back to the sparrows and visual identification. We've been much more effective that way

You're exactly right. BVR with friends is an entirely new world. But I do find it rewarding when you finally get it worked out. Good luck with your BVR endeavors!

"Hidden in ground clutter" - antenna elevation at 21k feet
@TheOpsCenterByMikeSolyom4 ай бұрын
I know this comment was meant as a joke, but mountains do exist. And in the range that stretches from eastern Afghanistan through Nepal there are several that reach up above 20,000 feet. So this is a real world phenomenon. Also, though its not modeled in DCS, precipitation does provide clutter as well. This is how weather radar works.
