When I had to do cross country moves, I preferred driving late at night, just me and the truckers. I always flick my lights to tell them it was safe to pass, and they'd flash their lights in thanks. I've never had a single negative interaction with a trucker.

Having been around trucks my whole life and driving one for almost two decades. Been to these 48, all across Canada and up to Alaska there's countless stories I could tell about all the creepy and weird things, people I've seen. But in all that time driving I wonder how many I've had worried cause more times than I can count I've got tired after a long day of fighting traffic and just cruise in the right lane, usually just riding behind the same car for awhile. Then they just happen to exit off at the same exit I'm taking. I know it bothered some thinking I was following them cause at the bottom of the ramp, them staring at me they just shot across the road back on the interstate.

All you have to do to get away from a semi is to get off the interstate on a road the truck would have a tough time on or pull into a shopping center full of islands. All the dork had to do is leave the rest area. He would be alot slower leaving the rest area. Then she should have just gotten off the next exit.

Try putting a bottle of vodka in the freezer, and rubbing it on the sutures when they hurt too much. This is an old Finnish remedy for teething that my husband taught me, and it got me through my last tooth extraction. Don't swallow the blood, spit it out!

Don't spit, drool out the blood. Spitting can rip the stitches if you have any or just cause bleeding again. Tip your head to the side its bleeding from and when it fills up tip forward and let the blood run out of your mouth

I'm sorry. I hope you feel better soon! I've had to get four baby teeth removed one by one at one appointment because the adult teeth were growing over the baby teeth. My mouth was killing me for a week. That did happen about three years ago, I did have pain killers, and I was like 11 at the time, but I was screaming and crying, and the roots on one of the teeth was still on it. Anyway, I do hope you feel better very soon!

Otr driver of 6 years I hear these stories and it irritates me caz everyone groups the rest of us in this category. Most of us have families and work our butts off to support them, most of us are very nice and helpful folks, I've help more than enough strangers on the side of the road with flats and what not. LoL my husband is a trucker, I may be 5'3" but after 4 kids, I'm now longer that tiny. I've settled comfortably into about 155 at 39 years old. I'm not out trying to screw everyone I see and show off the goodies. As long as I'm comfortable with my body, and my husband is attracted & happy with the way I look that I'm all set in Life.

Or maybe he once had a daughter her age that died tragically and she reminded him of her. Endless possibilities. Granted he may have wanted to do her harm, or see if she was into older men or whatever, but you just never know. As a trucker of 20 years I get annoyed always being looked at like some perv on crank. I have a beautiful wife, 4 kids and just wanna get back home to them. From a truckers viewpoint, yes guys blow the air horns at pretty women and wave, and have since the beginning of trucking. It’s lonely out there and a smile or a wave back really makes a guys day when he’s been on a long run did little pay and zero appreciation. And that’s all 99% of the ones that blow the horn do it for. Hell I did it in my younger days when I was single. But as you get older you don’t out of respect for your own family as well as the womans. But as a father I’d tell my daughter to play it safe because there is that 1% out there or less that are creepers. A word of advice tho, instead of blowing it all out of proportion and making the guy out to be some serial rapist/killer, if you don’t want the attention just drive on and pretend you didn’t hear or see anything, most likely he will assume you had radio up and didn’t hear it and that’s that. And it ain’t like he’s gonna run you down in an 80,000 pound rig anyway. If he persists, stop quickly somewhere, see what he does then start quickly again cause most likely he’s loaded and you’ll be long gone before he breaks 55mph. If all else fails and none of that works and he persists, play it safe and call the authorities

When my grandad was doing a job driving his truck,he had to stop at the CATERHAM BYPASS for the night...and at that bypass there’s 2 ghost sisters (search on KZbin and you’ll see) and late at night when he was falling asleep one of the ghosts knocked on his window and when he looked out the window he saw a girl,the girl walked THROUGH a car and disappeared TRUE STORY and he has way more he’s telling me like when he was younger coming from cinema going home he was encountered by the rainbow men (7 men who follow you with no clothes on) he still has more

why would a. emergency responder tell you to pull in somewhere a truck can fit? literally all you have to do is get inside a parking lot that a truck can’t fit, which isnt hard. or if you’re in a rural area, get off on a random exit and make a u turn in any little place you can find. it’s not hard to lose a trucker at all 😂 these stories are still entertaining though

The girl that said women can't travel alone, that really gets me angry. I have been traveling this country since I was 17, long blond hair, blue eyes, and shapely (not bragging as I didn't make me), I'm 60 now. Things come up, you take care of it. If you were smart you would have backed over the guy. Which is what I would have done. Anyway women are perfectly safe as long as you watch what's going on around you and don't trust strangers.

I had a scary experience one time I was on a road trip with my boyfriend we were going to Albuquerque to visit family and as we got closer to town our tire popped so we got out to see what happened he drove over some glass from a wine bottle so I went back to the car to watch Netflix whilst he called a tow company they couldn’t be out there till 6 am because it was so late so he got back into the car and told me we would be here awhile a few hours go by and I started hearing a a fucking horrific noise at this point my boyfriend was snoring so I woke him up telling him I was hearing what sounded like a cat being brutally murdered he looked at me with the most dumbfounded look on his face they he told me I was imagining it and to go back to sleep I smacked him called him a idiot and told him to get the gun he brought then we heard a screeching noise like no animal I’ve ever heard before and I saw a black figure in the distance it looked like a person but a bit contorted till I saw it go on 4 legs and walk closer to our truck and I’m not even kidding I saw yellowish red eyes like from a fucking horror movie I screamed so loud I asked my boyfriend if he saw it but he told me he didn’t see anything I looked back and it was gone I swear to fucking god something was out there

My Dad was a trucker for as long as I remembered. I knew all of his trucker friends and they were down to Earth, hard working people. However, think about this,,,,most probably don't have a College education, some made not have a High School diploma. Truck driving was the only job they could get. Some thing goes for Construction workers. I had my house re-modeled. 2 of the workers were charged with murder! One was a kid who had gotten into drugs and murdered his elderly neighbor who caught him burglarizing his apartment. The other murdered his girlfriend. A handyman I hired was arrested for date rape.

Hey everyone! I am a long haul trucker! It seems that most of these stories are creepy and it seems that there are a lot of crazy people in the world now and days! So all I can tell you all is to always trust your judgment! But not all of us that drive trucks are creepy lunatics! So if a driver blows the air horn at you and waves it simply means that we think you are a beautiful person, we get lonely on the road ways and some may hope only to wish that maybe just maybe that by showing you some attention that you might want some action! That's all! Most of us that drive wouldn't intentionally hurt nobody!
