Personally i believe that the 6.50 dollar BBQ is something you can eat once or twice a week. But the 70 dollar one is something special for birthdays for a date for a job promotion etc.

I love Japanese BBQ so much. In my state we have one that my bf and I go to all the time. Miso marinade is so good. It makes the meat tender and salty. There is a new Korean BBQ place I need to check out as well. The more expensive all you can eat you had is a freaking good deal

Japanese BBQ is literally Korean BBQ. Koreans introduced it to Japan in the 1940's. Japan never had this culture or style of grilling meat on the table over open flame. This is Korean culture. But Japanese changed name.

Both places looked amazing! But you just can't beat that first deal. Glad you got to experience both extremes. Btw, the first place was not a restaurant per se (at least judging by the sign). It states "Wholesale - Jimbocho Meat Center Akabaneten." "赤羽店" means "Red Wing Store." You probably could've picked up a nice pair of boots there, too 🤣

Oh i think the first place is a regular yakiniku restaurant during dinner time. Supposedly it’s a franchise but only this location seems to offer this all you can eat lunch. Kind of a cool name though

Akabane is an area in Tokyo. That means it's the Akabane branch of the chain.

Thanks for this video. We've booked Rokkasen last week on their Annex branch which is 5 mins walk from their main branch because it's fully booked already. We enjoyed everything the quality of meat is very good for its price including their unlimited drinks.

A few other KZbinrs in Japan that I follow mention always asking for permission ahead of time or reserving space before the resteraunt opens.
