Thanks coach. For other viewers I experienced all of these things a couple of months back. I love cycling but overreached big time and couldn’t even look at my bike, worst part was all the signs were there and my ego dominated and I just kept going and things got worse. With help from Scott I’m almost back to training. Listen to him and join BCC - he knows his stuff.

This was perfect timing for me, coach, thank you! I've jumped back into cycling a little bit too enthusiastically since the new year and have been feeling fatigued the last few days, struggling to get through work and frankly acting like a bit of an overtired toddler with my family once I get home... so I needed this kick in the butt to actually dial back the intensity and take a little more time for rest!

Would love to try the starter plan, but I've felt like this for 10yrs, I only ride Z2 for 2-5hrs a week as my legs are always tired. Got various injuries as well that won't heal.... I used to be able to do a lot. The joys of being nearly 50.

I only did 1 hiit session (my first one ever) and I have put on 4ib of water bloat, I’m consistently waking up at 3am every night unable to sleep feeling shattered all day, my digestion is crap, energy is low and I can’t warm up. Really dug myself into a hole. Cortisol spike? Can I expect this to happen after every hiit session? I thought 2 Hiit per week was optimal? Why am I feeling like this just after 1? Hope I can bounce back soon. It’s messing me up pretty bad
