Hey good work! Just stumbled on your channel but I have to ask, what was that snagging hook you were using called and do you eat the suckers?

Hey! Thanks for the comment! I’m not sure sure if the hooks have a certain name, I’ve always known them to be just snagging hooks. They are different than the treble hook, the ones that we use only have one hook. They sit on the bottom with the hook facing up, so they don’t get hung up as easy. You can look up, “snagging hooks for fish” online and they will pop up. We did fry them up that night and had a fish fry . Thanks again for the comment!

@@Ozarkoutlaws Thank you, haven't heard of a lot of people eating suckers as they see them as trash fish but now I definitely have to try them! Tight lines and keep going forward, your channel has potential!

@@Criam very good question. Sometimes the suckers will swim in front of the hook, but sometimes they need a little persuading. You can guide where the fish go by throwing rocks. Then once they are in between your hook and sinkers you set the hook and presto, a sucker. Thanks for the comment!
