This looks almost 100% identical to the one I just bought except mine has a locking rear differential. Best part is prices are coming down and I got mine for 42k out the door. Don’t be scared of the msrp, negotiate negotiate negotiate. Ford dealers around me are still sitting on 2023 models and have 2025s coming in and they are starting to get desperate to clear out old stock. I wish I could have found the black appearance package FX4 STX but I’m happy with what I have although I may swamp out the fender vents for the all black ones.

Not sure where you are, but in Canada you can get the STX with the 3.5 ecoboost and the 3.5 H.O. My 2024 STX has the 3.5eb and it comes standard with duel exhaust and LED rear taillights as well as front headlights.

It has remote start. It uses an app on your phone for it. Just not on the fob. I have the app for my 2021 STX.

I am a fan of the f series trucks, both superduty and f150. There are a few things i would add/delete from the features list, but for the most part this is decent package. Love the column shifter! Thats where it should be located. This is a pickup not a little suv. Nice job on the review.

im really liking these new STX's and ive sat in a few of them at the dealership, but one thing i noticed is: do they not have a way to adjust the height of the driver seat? i just find that so odd. i saw the lever to raise and lower the back rest and then to slide the seat back and forth but there doesnt seem to be a seat height adjustment lever? i have a 2021 Ranger STX and seat adjustments are all manual in that too but even that has a height adjustment lever. I just feel like that such a weird, yet important feature to not add in a new truck

This is the sole reason I will never get an stx. I love the way they look but the lack of driver seat adjustment is a deal breaker.

I thought I would really miss it too, but it turns out I don't. I was constantly moving my seat around in my XLT looking for that perfect comfort spot, now I just leave it in one position and it's really super comfortable. I do miss the lumbar adjustment though.

Bro, that fx4 package is worth it for those of us who hates large wheels. Also, that dual exhaust is nice and i would get the v8 since they will be extinct in a few years (ram and tundra). Sadly, is too expensive and there should be big incentives. I love the space of full size trucks, especially that wide center armrest and loads of space. All vehicles have very narrow center consoles. Still, i cant afford it.

The 2.7L ecoboost have enough power and torque for anything anyone has any business doing with a half ton truck. Once you factory in suspension, tongue weight, and tire composition, the 2.7L can tow more than the rest of the truck can handle.

The 2.7 has up to 10,000lb tow rating.It is a good engine for towing.I had a 15 and it was more than impressive towing our travel trailer.Our friends with a GM 5.3 could not believe it was a 2.7

I’m literally at the dealership buying one of these but my STX has the FX4 package and a 5.0 😎. Best damn deal going right now. I’m trading a 2017 XLT 302A Mid with the 2.7L ecoboost. It’s literally the same truck minus power seats in the STX plus BSM, and few other driver’s Nannie’s that I’ll never use in the STX.

Going about sand with my 202” xlt-but building a street sport edition with blackout and adding heated seats at dealer for $500 and I have a better truck than my 2020 xlt with bigger screen, better lane control, more cameras, better headlights….more. Also opting for a 5.0 but grabbing a Whipple supercharger, a ford performance 1”/2” lowering kit (f/r). Street rod!

I like the 20" rims. Better ride on the bigger tires. Cannot get them with FX4, which is why this is my first "non-FX4" in the last 4 trucks I bought.

Bad move by Ford on options 2023 v. 2024, IMO. My 2023 STX has the 20” wheels AND running boards, as well as trailer brake controller and class IV hitch, which were all separate options last year. Why only 18” wheels with the running boards in the 2024 model? I’m 5’ 10” and, with 20” wheels, that step up with the grab handle on the A pillar makes getting into the cab very easy - and they look sharp, too! BTW, towing is 6500 lbs. with the rocket 2.7 l and 10 speed. Also extended cab gave me a 6’ bed, a good tradeoff there. All this at 10% off MSRP of about $49k (OK, I’m bragging now😊)

I drove the Silverado 2.7 turbo the other day. That engine come nowhere close to the awesomeness of the Ecoboost. The Transmission is bad too.

With the 2024 STX you either get the 2.7L ecoboost or the Coyote V8. You have move up the XLT to the the 3.5L ecoboost.

Just get rid of those crappy Hankook tires. I had 3 trucks with them and EVERY time they had a blowout within the first 2,000 miles!!! Now I buy the truck but work a deal for BFG KO-2's supplied and installed by dealer. . Much better.

Test drove the ecoboost and the 5.0, and the ecoboost pulls better. Not sure if it's actually faster but it just pulls harder.
