When I saw that Part 2 was 2.5 hours, I thought my gosh that is so long. But I was absolutely glued to it and thoroughly enjoyed it. The questions you asked yourself that brought you to making the documentary are the same questions I have had so your video was very insightful and I see the truth in Matthew 24 now. It makes so much sense that it was about 70AD. But I can also see that history repeats itself and Jesus keeps coming with His power and glory as He brings judgement on idolatrous and sinful nations. The world is just so corrupt now and I can't help but think that judgement has to be coming and our Lord will return one day. God bless..

(Dane from featheredprop recommended watching your video) There is another possibility which is Very Rarely discussed and that is the Hebraic concept of "Midrash". It's kind of difficult to describe exactly what midrash is but briefly, it means that God works in patterns. In Western thinking, one might say that it means "history repeats itself". What that could imply is that both views of the Olivet Discourse are correct. It did happen in the 1st century and it also has a future implication of what will happen in what is commonly referred to as The End Times. One of your guests said something which I completely agree with and that is prophecy will be understood as it happens. In my opinion, way too many people try to interpret prophecy in order to give them a clear picture of future events. However, I think Acts 2:16 is a great example of how prophecy is revealed. Peter recognizes Joel being fulfilled as it happens. If John wrote the Book of Revelation in the 90's as most believe, it could mean that the pattern of what has just happened to Israel will in similar fashion happen again in the future. Why are both camps able to produce compelling cases for their belief of past or future fulfillment? They both present strong arguments. Again I say, both views could be correct. Personally, I do believe Jesus will return. Too much of the end of the Book of Revelation cannot be adequately explained from a historical perspective (my opinion). Like you, I feel it deep in my heart that He will be back. Great video. Subscribed.

Yes, those events took place in 70 AD and as the bible maintains types and shadows in the OT they can be applied to even our day. The bible is a book we can find our selves in as well as those in the middle ages.. These events in Matt 24 happened; in 70 ad and Rev 20:7-8 at the end, God comes to bring final judgement to all things. and we will live in Christ forever.

Older scholars placed its writing before AD 70, not in the 90s. Internal evidence suggests before AD 70, eg: the temple is still present and standing. Also, the Jews were said to persecute the church. But the Jews were in no position to persecute anyone after AD 70.

This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. Again read the whole chapter 15 of 1 Corinthians [19] If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied. His second coming is real, as christians that is our living and precious hope ‭that the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. ‭For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have?

If anything, preterists respect that Jesus wasn't lying and that "all visions" and all things written in those days of vengeance were fulfilled. The law and the prophets were until John. Jesus was the very last king and prophet. The 40y period of grace completed, the divided kingdom of Israel (Judah and Ephraim) became one stick. That 40y was Christ reign. Then wrath came on unbelieving Israel. Hope of Israel completed. We are in world without end, unsearchable riches of Christ gospel. The one gospel verses in context was against the Judiazers that had an old covenant law gospel.
