Imagine that you asked out a Russian girl, but you can't say when you wanna meet her - on what day?... That would be a disaster! In order for this not to happen you know what you should do - viel Spaß! :)
English - every Monday! Russian - every Wednesday!

Dear Teacher Antonia: It seems to me that there is an error in exercise number two. Завтра 13. 11. 2014 тринадцатое (for me it would be тринадцатого) Could you correct me please?

When you say what day it is today or tomorrow, yesterday etc you need to use Nominative case, not Genitive ;)

6:36 Again she pronounced the part of "восемьдесят седьмого года" as "восемьде седьмого года" at the slow motion speed 50%. If it is an official way to liaison two words, that is fine. Almost all people want to choose the easier way to pronounce. I am a foreigner and "восемьдесят седьмого года", especially "десят" part is very difficult because седьмого is following next. Thank you for the video. My skill is improving anyway.

Antonia, you are beautiful! All your videos are of very high quality, and from the bottom of my heart, Большое спасибо; I recommend your teaching videos. If you will allow me to suggest something, I would suggest you split the english channel lessons from the russian channel ones, many followers of the russian channel do not need english class ;-) so english people do not need to hear about english lessons.

Benoit Ratelle Thank you very much! This is good advice, but it is too late, there are too many popular videos of both types at this channel, if I split them, one of the types will lose A LOT, so, I don't think it is a good idea. I believe it is not so hard to differentiate and watch the videos which one needs.

6:04 "две тысячи" Did she pronounce the Russian phrase correct? I listened to her pronunciation at the speed of 50%. Very unclear. She has a habit to pronounce a Russian phrase very unclear and fast when we really want to know.
@Julia-og2dr
@Julia-og2dr 4 жыл бұрын
yes, she pronounced correctly. It’s just a shortened pronunciation. in quick colloquial speech natives often say (тыща, тыщи) but if we talk about the correct presentation, it will sound like this (тысяча as *тысича* or *тысча* and тысячи as *тысичи* or *тысчи*)
