This was probably my favorite version of the 3rd gen firebird outside of the original base model. I wasn't too big on the later some of the trans am and gta packages as I felt the body kits on those cars made it look a bit too bulky. This one was a nice mix of rounded but still keeping most of the original body style, nose cone alone reminds me of KITT from Knight Rider but without the scanner light which always looked cool to me.

Same. It was a POS with the ceiling cloth falling off, broken pop up headlights that had to be manually adjusted upward, everything automatic breaking, wheel once feel off on the freeway, exhaust fell out, etc. but it was hella fun to drive!

Damn, that Firebird was well cared for. Looked to be in great shape, especially the interior. It was immaculate inside! Great looking car. I love all the years and models of the Firebird/Trans Am line.

I had a 91 Firebird in high school from 1998 to 2001. It had 120,000 miles when I started driving it, and looked remarkably worse than the one in this video. Despite it being constantly breaking down, it was a fun car to drive.

Had a 90 fomula ,same style wheels, 245- 50 tires , 16's ,t tops 305 multi port , def.under powerd ,but looked ,handled & cruised great

Still have my 91 formula. Bout it with 65k miles in 2005 for 4k. Getting the engine rebuilt now with 120k miles on it. Sad day but i had to do it. I love my formula, much more than my 5th gen camaro

I absolutely hate 3rd gen f bodies. When I was a teenager this is all me and friends could afford to go fast and at the time your only other option was a slow Monte ss or worse, giving in and being a poser and buying a 5.0 mustang ( looking back much better) God these cars sucked and we hard to make fast and also sounded like shit. The 89 irocs with the 350 tpi were pretty good though. 14 second car that handles really well but in the early 2000s most all rattled apart by then. Sadly these are becoming desirable and people will actually spend decent money on them if their clean even though they are terrible built shitty cars. Literally makes me want to puke.
