walking into a Kawa Cycle dealership in the ‘80s as a kid was something Magical. I’d go straight the the 50 & 80cc bikes and dream. I’d see the 125 & 250s and tremble…they were so gnarly & fantastic to view. seeing these vintage colors on knobbies sends me right TF back to those days. they’re something unique for sure & I love that a dude is keeping them alive & screaming. thanks for doing what you do, 2Vintage….they need you.

I echo your comment exactly. Being a young pup of about 11 or 12 in the mid 80's and drooling over those bikes and that exciting fear if you will looking at and just touching those 125 and 250 beasts and dreaming some day...

Where I live in Connecticut we have New Haven MotorSports it's a Kawasaki and Suzuki dealership, and Like you said, I would run right over to the 80cc's KX's and RM's and sit on one and I remember the smell of the shop. And I always remember the salesman trying to sell my mom and I a KDX 80, but I was always hell bent on getting the KX 80, this was like 1992-93, And I remember that Christmas getting that lime green machine. But yeah reading your comment brought back that memory for me! thanks bro!!

@@johnnym4400 - Heck Yeah! Santa was super cool that year, Maselli. Santa never had to drop a Brand New bike off by the tree. I had a neighbor, a few years older than me, who raced with his dad. I’d get his retired CRs when he’d advance in class, or at the end of the seaon. I’d also get all the stock parts that had zero time on them. this was the late ‘80s & into the earlier ‘90s…great CR years. I get both bikes (main & backup) & would tear down the #1, rattle can paint the scraped-up frame, then build up a high quality bike with the original plastics, bars, tires & rims. I’d make a damn-near new bike out of the 2 & would still have another good runner for whatever buddy came to visit, having 3-5 bikes in the basement shop. I’d sell CRs on the old Atlanta Advertiser ad listing mag & buy a new’ish KX. I’d time it when my mom was hauling horses to/from a show, so I’d come home with a green bike. I was a happy boy. this is probably why/how I immediately gravitated to 2Vintage’s channel. he’s doing the same thing in the 2Ks
