760RWHP ZL1 (Heads, Cam, Pulleys, Cold-Air, Headers/Exhaust) Vengeance Racing

This beautiful Garnet Red Camaro ZL1 was transported in by our friends at TPM Transport all the way from the Cape Cod area of Massachusetts to undergo a performance upgrade that would focus on maximizing performance with the stock LT4 supercharger while still focusing on drivability as well as reliability. For this, we concocted a combination of parts that would help us in ultimately achieving well over 700rwhp on 93 octane pump gas without the need for methanol injection, and another 30rwhp gain with a bit more aggressive tune on VP Racing Fuels MS109 fuel for the weekends at the drag strip. Being a manual transmission car and the fact that access to the clutch is so straight forward during the camshaft swap, our customer opted to go ahead and upgrade to the RPS BC3 triple carbon disc clutch as well for future planning.

And a set of Michelin 4s in the summer from a roll will probably spank your butt as well. I have 2018 w 703 rwhp no cam and no heads or NOS. I will be going w cam and heads soon. U DO have to manage it on the street. But u shouldnt be racing on the street anyway. Lolol. Easier said than done😜

Heads/Cam are not bolt ons. Neither are some of the other parts. For most Heads/Cam/FBO/Clutch builds like this, you're looking at $20,000 out the door. Give or take a few grand.

Nice but it certainly would lose against a european car with the same power to weight ratio. One example: 911 gt3 rs 0-200kph 10.5 With 36 hp per tonne, no supercharger and 4.0 boxer 6 engine. Corvette c7 z06 0-200 10.3 with 410!!! Hp per tonne and way more torque due to the supercharger. At least they sound great even when being inferior while stock.

This Camaro is just a toy to clown around, make a bunch of noise spinning the tires, and do 150 mph highway pulls with Supras. It would probably run 12s at the track on the tires in the video, and not much better on drag radials if the owner doesn’t really know how to launch and shift a manual transmission car. Different strokes. I prefer traction and efficiency to noise and show.

Name me 3 (three) american cars being quicker on the straight line than any european one, both from the same generation and equal power to weight ratio. I'll wait. To name some quicker german cars: 991.2 gt2 rs quicker than the corvette zr1 (track and strip with a worse torque to weight ratio than the zr1, both being the most track focused cars of the respective platforms) Ford mustang gt350 vs alfa romeo giulia QV (both lapping 7:32 at the nurburgring, while the giulia does way better on 0-200 kmh and is a 4 door family friendly car lol) I could name a few more but i think i made my point.
