Hey Keith nice work! One thing we do is give the customer an option of paying by check (either they are home when we do the job or they leave the check at xyz location) or we ask them to put a credit card on file before we even schedule the job. I wish Jobber had an option where it wouldn't let the customer be scheduled until there was a credit card on file.

Looks good! Easier to use a heavy rake (garden rake) to spread mulch rather than a leaf rake for me. Do your employees ride in the same truck as you? thanks!!

I agree man, we use the steel rake or we use the small pitch fork to get around tight areas. We also lay a tarp down at the end of the truck to make clean up easier.

You do not know how to price and of course you can get a ton of clients being that cheap. You’ll never scale to the big leagues. That job should easily be between 12-1500

What’s the rationale for the consensus that this job should be $1200? Seems like multiple people think so. 3yd of mulch at $160 is $480. I can see why someone in this business would say another $300 for shrub trimming and weeding is a little low which I would agree with, but to say that he’s missing out on $720 is a little steep imo. I could see $900-1000 for the full job. Thats probably what I would quote.
