There's something so wistful about Aly & AJ's videos that give a whole new meaning to their songs. You'd think this was a sweet lullaby of love, but it's also bittersweet and haunting. Oh my god i didnt think that. I had caught how AJ in the very first shot looks upset . Then the last sequence is her doing the exact same thing. I thought it was that her relationship wasn’t what it was but shes caught up in the romance of it. But this is also a really good take cuz “Its been forever since I saw you” and those additional lyricsdo really have deeper meaning of longing. And she isnt wearing the same clothes afterwards, so it definitely is a memory. And alcoholism is straight up in the lyrics. So she drinks to remember. Mind just blown.
