79 ford cummins conversion part 2

Another update on the pickup. This was from early in the year just mever posted it. Thought i would share it while i finish up fall work on the farm.

Nice that you used the original Ford chassis instead of dropping this body onto a dodge frame. So many guys do it that way.

Greetings from montana ! Looking real nice by the way! where did you get the gauges and carbon fiber housing? Just a little FYI you will love it better if you install 2 layers of fat Mat on the floor and behind the seat!

Thanks! Gauges are speed hut and the plastic bezel is from classic dash, its spendy but a easy way to put custom gauges in these old fords

I basically fabricated my own out of tubing. Cut and welded to make fit and then used sillicone couplers to attach to radiator and engine.

How much will cost me a truck like that one with the Cummins ???? I have a 1978 f100 short bed stepside box That I can trade or convert !!

How much will it cost? There are thousands of variable and the biggest being if you are doing it yourself or paying someone to do the conversion. Just putting a cummins in and fabicating the parts yourself wont cost much al all. But doing a full restoration and rebuilding everything will cost a lot. I did all the work myself so my costs are lower but theres thousands of hours worth of work into it.
