I have just had a 79 F350 done with a 92 12v VE pumped. It works well there's next to none in Aust. mine isn't 4x4 either and i sit on your passenger side . Hope you have a blast with yours .

Cutting a chunk out of the frame makes me nervous with regards to structural integrity. Did you box it in to regain strength?
