@ 38:25 More formal proof can be given as follows LHS = ceil( n/m ) RHS = floor( (n-1)/m) + 1 ) clearly n>m let n = mk + r , for some quotient k and remainder r LHS = ceil( (mk+r)/m ) = ceil( k + r/m ) = k+1 RHS = floor( (mk+r-1)/m ) + 1 = floor( k + r/m - 1/m ) + 1 = k+1

Sir, this video is perfect example of, the major reason I connected with your teaching was your emphasis on proofs and not mugging / rot learning approach. You always prove every formula/statement with a proof and don't just let us just remember anything but emphasis on understanding it and that too keeping balance of mathematics and intuitive proof. Hi rajat.... I am almost fine now..... I was not having enough energy to make video but I am touched with deep love and care of my students..... I really don't know from where I got energy and suddenly started making video... It's result of your prayers.....

Timestamp 18:05 point 1 will be "PHP doesn't put restrictions that every hole must have atmost one pigeon". I think "atleast one pigeon" is not correct. Thank you sir🙏

Sir at 27:00 complement of "at least 1 p.h." ...."less than 1 p.h" nahi hona chahiye??? as atleast 1 p.h will have at least 2 pigeons means >= ka complement < "less than" nahi hona chahiye?? i can't get it how complement is everyone and atmost ??? sir i've also search in logic notes of your videos..... please explain sir

Sir, In the advanced Pigeonhole principle it is an implicit assumption that each hole has at least 1 pigeon which was not in the case of the basic pigeonhole principle, right?

atleast one pigeon hole will have atleast ceil[((n-1)/m)+1] pigeon, sir is statement ka complement samajh nhi aaya iska compliment "No pigeon hole will have atmost ceil[(n-1)/m] pigeons .ye hona chahiye na?? PLEASE CLARIFY SIR
