You can’t really call the 2013 an “old analog” bike. It has electronic fuel injection, drive by wire throttle and DDC suspension just to name a few things.

I have told many of my friends that ceramic wheel bearings make a big difference on the top end, and most just think it's marginal because you don't see a difference on a dyno (or barely a difference). I HAVE A REQUEST! Can you do a video, showing a before/after...but....in order to see the difference...you are looking at TIME between 2k rpm to redline in top gear. 3 runs each before/after, avg the time, and compare it. I have not seen anyone do that yet.

Jeffrey English you can’t compare Wsbk to stock bikes number 1. If you look other videos you will see is the opposite the bmw is stronger than most to include Ducati V4s on top end. Bmw just has few seasons on WSBK, you can’t expect such a new team to be on podium constantly they still learning.

Yea wsbk arent same as streetbikes. Zx10 streetbike is usually the slowest on the track There's vids of street zx10 getting pulled several bike lengths on slow corners due to its low bottom power

If is the HP4 should be compared to the M sport. I have raced against HP4 competition in my M sport and My bike pull away from the HP4 without problem. That being said the HP4 is a beast still.

despite the impressive specs on this channel which kinda fairly tallish if you ask me. It's actually not a fast straight-line bike like s1000rr or Panigale v4. Yes on the dyno it makes more HP but it always shits the bucket in straight-line acceleration. I seen many comparison videos and even raced few myself and rode few as well and never seen it perform well in a straight line. If you're buying it for the straight line you will be disappointed. But on the track, it's amazing so easy to ride fast and moves like a ballerina.

@@Thelonius_Magee Just one video of rsv4 walking on v4r which is still rsv4 lost by a lot in acceleration to v4r which got no midrange compared v4 1100 and rsvr1100. It could be taller gears on rsv4. You can check any professional test of rsv4 vs panigale v4 and s1000rr and it loses on the straight significantly and wins on the lap times.

It’s great to see that the hp4 is still a awesome bike to this day and to all the people that hated the symmetrical lights here’s some proof that the older ones are still hurting some feelings on the filthy streets! Some of the races were so close... awesome stuff, it really depends on the rider/skill for sure. Can we get a dyno graph overlay of the hp4 and the 2020 s1000rr??? That would be really awesome to see. Very curious how the power curves are. I think you need to bring both bikes to the dyno!

FYI. All North American 2020 BMW s1000rr are restricted between 3.5 - 9k 2-5 gear. Not knocking your HP4 great bike I had one, how ever up against a unrestricted (Bren Tune) there is no contest.

The video is cool, I would like to see you and those machines at the track though bro. Let’s see the tech capabilities of those bikes and skill level of the riders at the highest level. The track! The track is FULL GAS...BRAKE! Going fast in a straight line is cool testing hp, but the real skill is being leaned over at 55-60 degrees, at 100mph and up. Tracks like RA Road America will most definitely test those balls. I like the smackdown vids, but I would like to see more track days. I’m not knocking you at all IB. Just sharing my opinion as a fan man.
