I agree with Joannlynne! I am 77 and up until I was 70 I had very few wrinkles. There is something to be said about aging gracefully. There was a time when I was vain too and did not want to lose by perfect figure and pretty face. Then I became a strong Christian and found that vanity is a sin. My mother had beautiful skin until she passed away at 94. I did too but as the good doctor said, the sun will destroy your skin. I loved the look of a great tan when I was younger, it looked so good with my blonde hair and blue eyes, but I was an athlete and out in the sun a lot. I'm just happy my granddaughters don't sun bath. As for breast implants, I did the opposite, I had a breast reduction in 2000 and it was the best thing I ever did.

permanent filler. The product was medical grade silicon and it was done in a plastic surgeon's office by an expert injector. The staff highly recommended it and said it would save me money in the long run. I had no problems or issues UNTIL I asked for a little more in my upper lip. It ended up covering my upper teeth and made my smile look strange- especially in pictures. Next came the correction surgery that really fu&%ed up me up! The scar from the lip shave surgery pulled my upper lip down like a garbage bag when you tighten the string (when I smiled). Needless to say, my smile has pretty much been ruined from where it started. The countless steroid (Kenalog) injections in my upper lip, three lip lift surgeries (by a new doctor) and massaging the scar on my lip have improved things but I will never have the pretty smile I once had, and it has been 13 years. Moral of the story: don't do anything you can't back up from. Second moral of the story: learn the art of restraint; too much of a good thing might take you over the edge. Third: you are good enough just as you are!

I really don’t feel sorry for those”people who”?aren’t satisfied with their own looks. Then they go to extreme”plastic surgery”to do this”do that. Specially when they don’t know where”and when to stop until that point”they’ve seen what they did to themselves. Sad thing is on”the end they put blame on Dr. I personally don’t like those people”who looks are all artificial” they don’t look their normal features. They don’t wanted to get older naturally. But they change everything what has God created” in them and their face features. So” so sad

Since I started watching your channel, I have changed my aesthetic treatment choices. I now wearSPF 50 every day, use a sun hat or a sunbrella, scaled back the Botox to a minimum, stopped getting filler, got PDO threads, upped my skincare to optimize for my skin type, stopped falling for specials at the med spa, started a small amount of hormones, and started really thinking intelligently about what I was doing. Finding a good practitioner has been essential. Thank you so much for all your helpful information. I appreciate your in-depth explanations. Now I look 10 years younger. I’m 45, and people think I’m in my early thirties. Thank you so much! I went from overfilled, puffy looking Hollywood housewife to someone that looks young, healthy and well proportioned. Worst procedures I have gotten? Years of too much filler in the lips and cheeks, causing a heavy, sagging lower face and downturned lip corners. A lot of med spas and plastic surgeons offices would just tell me to buy more syringes of filler. I can have my picture taken now and I look great,I recognize myself and look natural. Saving for a facelift to really turn back the clock and help undo 15 years of filler use/abuse. Also found a provider that said no to fillers of any kind at this point, gave me a realistic projection of what Nova threads could do, and what the limitations were. Thank goodness there are people out there who aren’t looking for the quickest way to make buck, but give you options and ideas🎉

@@AmbientSoundVibes Huge game changer was Nova threads. They are fairly expensive, but the outcome has been great. Also, I exercise like my life depends on it- I think you can get a ton of procedures, and you'll definitely see an improvement, but you have to put in a lot of work to keep your body looking great. I know people that try and lipo their way to a better body and the results are always limited, and usually less than what they had been expecting. None of us are perfect, and we are probably far more critical of ourselves than we are of others. So, I'm not where I want to be completely, but I'm feeling really confident. Watch his video on why fillers after 40 is a bad idea. He nails it : )

I has threads done that were meant to lift my face. These threads had special anchors that were meant to maintain their position. They created a horrible inflammatory response that left me looking disfigured. I aged 20 hearts overnight. some of the threads also developed scar tissue over them which game me skin a bumpy appearance. A year later, I had a deep plane face lift and the doctor removed the existing threads. Years later, I am finally happy with my appearance.

I have to say that this video helped confirm that I’m pretty happy with the condition of my 71-year old skin and face. I have been playing with makeup for almost 60 years and, in that time, I have developed some skills that compensate for imperfections like disappearing eyebrows and uneven lips. It really doesn’t take much. The only procedure I might consider is some skin resurfacing around the marionette area which in my case aren’t even lines but more like a bit of crazing on either side of my chin. Good nutrition, adequate hydration and sunscreen may be literally saving my skin.

Dr. Rajani I enjoy your show because it amazes me to see what people can have done to their face. I am 70 and have always had a youthful face, so I haven’t wanted to do anything to it. That said, at 35 I was in a serious auto accident and hit my forehead on the steering wheel, opening it from above brows to 2” up my scalp. As soon as my mother got the call that I was in the emergency room with head injury, she called a plastic surgeon who had done several medical (not esthetic) work on her. He met us at the emergency room and sewed up my gaping wound. Nowadays it is still in no way apparent unless you put your eye about an inch from my face! So, hooray for plastic surgeon who CAN almost do miracles! And hooray for you and the information you share. ❤👍👩🏻‍🎨

Low carb, high fat helps with cellulite. It’s the low fat craze that has lead to a lot of women, even thin women, to have cellulite. Check out Dr. Elizabeth Bright on this. Many who have done the ketogenic or carnivore diets have also had their gray hair start to grow back in their original color. All of the processed foods, vegetable/seed oils, and grains we eat have really done a number on our bodies. What we attribute to aging is often at least partially, if not completely, due to diet. For example, while brown spots do come from sun damage, they also come from inside and AGEs caused by the food we eat, and many have seen them lighten by eating low carb. Other things: glycated and aging skin, loose skin (fasting and autophagy help with this). Also sorts of chronic skin conditions: cystic acne, psoriasis, eczema, skin tags, rosacea have all disappeared from eating a low carb diet and getting rid of insulin resistance/inflammation.

Initially, I suffered from severe facial burn blistering for three months to a now non-pigmented face. One eye muscle was lifted on 3 occasions and it not correct. I was told the muscle has been pulled open to it’s final extent. Fifty-six thousand cash several years ago, was a barn burner. This “surgeon” burned me. His practice is in Georgia.

Dr R🧡 Thank you for touching on all of these procedures. I want to yell at the screen when I see people recommending these. I see so many of them every day and the results are typically not good. Men and women are typically unhappy as you said. I see scars and track marks and countless infections. For me it’s just wiser to try natural alternatives first. The skin was not meant to be burned or have needles poked in it. Another issue is the fact that so may estheticians think they are physicians and do these procedures when they have no idea of what they are doing. In my opinion, if an aesthetician is truly a Master, she’s going to teach you how to do things naturally without pills or procedures. When and if you need a procedure, he or she’s going to send you to someone like you, a professional board certified cosmetic surgeon. Most importantly, we need to teach people to love who they are, that it is normal to have a wrinkle is normal to not look like everyone else and it is normal to not have absolutely smooth perfect skin. Aging is a beautiful gift. Thank you Dr R 🙌🏼🍑🧡Lisa

@@kokolatte825 standard microneedling should be fine for your skin. With RF (radio frequency) microneedling there is high heat and too many variables that could cause damage (such as the practitioner using too deep of a setting for the needles) so it's riskier. Wow! I'm 70, starting to have jowls, thinner lips accordion wrinkles, marionette lines and deeper nasal labial folds. I've often thought about getting injections and threads. Migration has always been my fear with injections and tbh. Pain is my fear with threads. Now these options are off the table since you've made me aware. I'll never afford a full face lift, so I best get real serious about face yoga and massage together with the few creams I can afford. Thanks for your clarity on these procedures.

I don’t think face yoga and massage are going to help per se…but general exercise will for sure. I don’t think Dr. Raj is nixing fillers or Botox at all-just advising caution in some areas. So for example, a touch of juvaderm on marionette lines can be a godsend. A Nefertiti lift for jowls, which is Botox on your neck and platysmal muscles, can provide a super look and lift. Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water! Lots of little tweaks can add up to immense satisfaction. Good luck😊🌼

...and also accept the changes on your face. It's not easy though. I am trying my best. I am 68 and it seems like all of a sudden my whole face dropped. I don't recognize myself sometimes. I look better with make up, but I am not used to do it everyday, and I don't want to either. I do a pep talk to myself every morning and avoid mirrors the rest of the day. I hope it gets better. So far, the changes in my face has affected my confidence, but oh boy, I am trying so hard to not let it get to me constantly. I was pretty, but I am not aging nicely. I hope you do well with your face yoga.

This is not related to this video but I want you to know. Your collagen powder has done incredible things that I wasn’t expecting. I started it because I have a back injury that has totally changed my formerly very active life. My problems are still there but I have been taking peptide shots for years and I no longer want to inject them because the skin on my stomach is so thick! My nails are almost unbreakable where before they were dry and thin with ridges. I thought this might help you with some other patients because I didn’t put the cause and effect together for a couple of months. Thank you for your intense research and sharing so much with the world.

While I agree that nothing should be used lightly, I personally had very good results with the plasma pen around the eyes. Procedure was done by a professional with many years of experience, and 4 years later I’m still happy with the result. Biggest lesson learned: “Ladies DON’T PULL(!) your eyelids when applying the eyeliner or make up in general!”. I’m never again PULLING my skin, this isn’t said enough. Also with ‘pressure’ around the eyes, I’m only using the ring finger or pinky to apply any products around the eyes.

I'm glad to have heard about the RF Microneedling because my skin and face was already beautiful and I thought that this procedure would make my skin more youthful but it did not. I had fat loss my whole shape of my face was different and the texture and skin itself took forever to heal. I had bought a package of 3 and I was terrified to go ahead and do the other two treatments. I had great skin pretty firm and no breakouts only one or two during pimples my period. Now my face was breaking out for a year badly and I looked like I had scars that I didn't have as well as spider veins. My nose even looked like it got bigger I mean it was devastating for me. I've had to do regular Microneedling at home to help scars and plump skin a little but still was unhappy. Now I've been doing facial exercises that actually have helped to lift my jaw and make my face look better but nothing how it already was before the procedure. I am so skeptical to do anything else as this was my first time ever doing anything on my face but have had botched up procedures on my body. A person really needs an expert and it doesn't matter how much you look into a person because you really don't know if the person is actually good or not. I thank you for the Truth and knowledge. They made it seem like it was all in my imagination as I kept sending them pictures as the months went by and crying out but they down played it.

i had no other options available to me aside from fillers under the eyes. having had a lower blepharoplasty 20 years ago for hereditary bags in my mid 30s, i am now not a suitable candidate for a repeat procedure, as there isn't really enough fat there to redistribute. i have minor eye bags, but mostly the issue is a semi-circular trough across the entire width of each eye. so i took myself to a maxillofacial surgeon who also does cosmetic procedures. this was about 4 months ago and i am pretty happy with the result. bonus - the overall skin condition has also improved! i have had botox for 20 years, hereditary forehead lines. and then also around the eyes. i've had no issues with brow droop, ever... so, i don't know. very happy results for two decades. then i developed antibody resistance. so... i have had almost 3 years off so far, and eventually plan to resume treatments, but with a botox that has no complexing proteins, and so hopefully no more antibodies. two decades of no wrinkle formation on my forehead and around these eyes really has made a difference to my overall appearance. i have had a couple of very small lip filler treatments, just to the corners, to give a bit of "scaffolding". my last treatment was 2-3 years ago. about the same for the first treatment. i don't know if any of it travelled south, but the corners of my lips are sill upturned, and i have almost nothing in the way of marionette lines. i am 58, and in lucky possession of excellent high cheekbones. maybe that helps 😄 just imagine what all these young women are going to look like as huge amounts of (repeat) lip filler ends up spreading out and down. by the time they are 35 they're gonna look 55, bless them. anyway, i think i would rather have a facelift than have threads 😬 threads! no, no, no 😆 no 😆

She was never big busted like her mom but I noticed at some point that she looked like she had gotten an augmentation but it was VERY conservative . More importantly , it looked extremely realistic and natural on her as if they were all her. Taylor Swift on the other hand went too far and they look ridiculously too large for someone her frame. Coolsculpting. The results were great at first, but then it seemed like the areas that I got it started to get larger somewhat in the shape of the mechanism. I guess it was similar to what Linda Evangelista experienced. Its my understanding that that is actually way underreported, and the percentage of people it happens to is larger than what they tell you. I had to then pay to get lipo to undo the big lumps in my stomach. (my weight was pretty steady during this time, so it wasn't due to weight gain.)

I microneedle every 6-8 weeks and very happy with results, I would like to do it with RF, but maybe not after watching this video. I don't want to lose any fat from my face. I watched your Castor oil video and 30 days in I totally see softening of fine lines. Thank you!

I hate the fact I got under eye filler. I got it dissolved years later and it’s still there. Fluid builds up looking festoon-like and I also have eczema flare ups in the area where it wasn’t there before. Don’t do it. You will regret it later on.

I get Botox for migraines. It’s never been enough to make it so I can’t move my forehead or brows. And I have breast augmentation, doing 650cc’s, which surprisingly put me at a 34G. I was fine with it as I’m 5’11 and balanced me out, curvy, and didn’t get in the way of exercising. I already have athletic build. I did have a double mastectomy due to breast cancer after 9 years. Battled it one more time afterwards, as it was estrogen fed. 3 year free this time around.

Based on my experience, plasma pen is amazing. It changed my under eye area and my hands are so soft glowy and absolutely much younger. All other treatments didn't work for me 🙂

You are the best! The ones I regret you nailed the first one: under eye filler. I had it dissolved. Yet now it is 12 years later and I have what appears to be still lumps.🥺 Morpheus was expensive & I saw no improvement. I was told it was the best way to deal with crepe skin on neck. The only thing that happened is I lost feeling in my neck😵

hallelujah. I have only gotten forehead and crowsfeet botox, and I have been pleased with both. having said that, since watching you and another YT channel, I am not having any botox and just using caster oil undereyes especially, but allover, and 'Frownies' on forehead, which I'd like smoother, but WOW! the caster oil results are crazy good! Thanks for that!

RF Microneedling. Turned my nose BRIGHT red which still did not subside three months later. The redness on the rest of my face went away in just a few days. I had to get V Beam on my nose which only reduced the redness. RF Microneedling was expensive and I didn’t notice any difference or improvement whatsoever. One detmatologist told me she does not do RF micro-needling because it causes unevenness in the underlying fat pad and makes it like bacon. I will just stick to microneedling without RF going forward.

Agree on all (especially forehead Botox!) the key factor is going to someone that’s the BEST and most experienced in any of these areas….. don’t get treatments off Groupon, spend the money on the most experienced Dr if you are going to have any of these done

You’re right about the forehead Botox 👍🏼. It always makes my eyelids droop. At least it’s temporary. But forehead lines are so unattractive to me. I think I’ll take a little bit of droop over the wrinkled forehead and just keep doing my eye exercises.

I had undereye filler 10 months ago for the first time.and I love it. Zero bruising/swelling, no migration. I an 45. Also it was painless. I agree about the botox in the forehead but I still do it once a year. I also agree about lip filler migration, this is why I haven't done it for 4 years now but I am thinking of doing it soon because I have very thin lips.

I did threads with suture suspension almost 3 yers ago. I still feel it in some areas of my face. I did the plasm pen, big waist of money and under eyes fillers over 2 years in a half and can feel a little bump. Not visible but we can tell it did not dissolved.

I had threads done and looked fantastic for a week. The naso-labial line started returning on about day 4 and by day 7, I was back to normal. The doctor blamed it on my "enzymes" that had absorbed the threads. Of course no-one took responsibility.

The type of threads used are key. If the price is low often the quality is low. How many threads?

@@rajanimdskincare It was nearly eight years ago so the technology was quite new and thus expensive for the time. The product was SSoft threads and I had two of them. The company was Genop. I notice that the practitioner doesn't offer the service any more.

sorry to hear that .let me ask you a few questions . did you do it yourself? if so where did you get you pen from? Are you exposed to the sun? Did you let the crusts fall naturally or did you pick on them? when you did it, were you taking any medications then( there are certain skin problems and health problem that it is not good to have plasma pen treatment done) ? did you use appropriate after care products for healing process ? from the fitzpatrick scale what skin color # are you?

My mother had a thread lift done in Florida where she lives. And it failed a few years later. When she went back to complain she found out the place she had it done at went out of business and she couldn't get any information about where they went. Moral of the story, don't mess with your face.

They just change the name of the company. I’m sure they are still there. I just can’t believe all the uneducated people providing such services. Flordia has the most lax laws when it comes to any malpractice. I think that’s why the business is so booming down there. You would think they have such high demand that the experience is there but it’s not the case at all.
