He knew PQ was waiting for him to turn before shooting, so he waited for the literal final possible moment to make the turn and he still got clapped. In order to not get clapped, he would've needed to ground there nose in, but he didn't want to do that, because he'd get slowed down and put out of battle even longer. Plane spotting doing it's perfectly balanced thing. That is all. Lot of people playing this game for years, with enough experience and situational awareness, minimap awareness etc. you don't really need that skill anymore. You get a feeling for who can aim at you and who can't at all times. That DM seemed to me like he knew what he was doing and that's why he was so pissed, it didn't feel like he was doing anything severely wrong. He was behind an island, he was patient, even tried to bait turning the other way and still got "punished", while so many broadside enjoyers get away for free because RNG. I would've been really pissed too in that situation.

I love that ui assistant in the bottom left to show the angle of the locked ship and it telling you if angle is too much by turning orange and penetrating by turning green. Super helpful.

How do you get your huds looking like this? Such as the angle of your ship compared to the targeted etc? I dug through the settings and don’t see these options.

There’s a quasi-official modder called Aslains, he has a WoWS modpack that gives you the crosshair, score timer, and all the other stuff PQ has. It’s something that basically all the competitive playerbase used in WoWS and WoT, so it’s safe.

could your dispersion be tied to the aim time? seems the longer you have the target in the sights the better your spread

I too noticed that for many years now, could not definitively prove it, it may or may not be a factor. Your speed also seems to be related to your spread. If you are stationary and take a while to aim, you get good dispersion even in ships like Gneisenau.

Nice strikes, best ive done is in my Vermont fired four salvos during the game i got 3 dev strikes back to back crusiers kept sailing broadside for some reason game didn't last long zero'ed the red team fast

I have really enjoyed these Maine vids. It might actually be a supership I might actually get. I just cant believe that anybody would fork out 350M credits when in 2 or 3 patches you can get it for 58M. Superships are designed to be a credit sink anyway to operate and then paying so much to get it early. Maybe as a CC it makes sense but these auctions are nothing but a continuing effort by WG'ing to suck the player base dry of resources.

Seems like a lot of ship reviews are predicted too much on how many people show you broadsides. A dev strike doesn't necessarily mean the ship you float is amazing - but that the other guy played his ship poorly.

Getting dev strikes on cruisers isn't as satisfying as getting one on BBs. We all know CAs don't have the armor to stand up to BBs unless coming head on; and even then it depends on what you're up against. Nailing broadside BBs is way more fun to see.

@@jayvee8502 There wasn't a 4*4 tillman, they would probably use the 5*3 tilman IV-2 design. It would look like a lengthened Vermont with a third turret in an izumo-style arrangement in the back.

Do you think the extra heals are worth having, since there is no super heal, or do you think the 4 points could be better spent on, say, gun feeder + basics of survivability, (the reduction in fire/flooding time) given the use of the Super Heavy AP skill. Your thoughts?

This ship will make pushing even more dangerous than it already is. Giving the ship with the most alpha damage in one salvo great turretangles is just broken. Maines only weakness seems to be rudder shift and size (when played correctly)

BBs are countered by basically everything in the game nowadays and almost nothing counters SSs efficiently. SSs have no place in the game and ruin the rock, paper, scissors of the game.

Maine is good but I've killed him multiple times in my GK recently in Ranked. GK being the worst BB killed a tier higher ship that easily seems to me like maine is not that good. His citadels are very easy to punish.
