The face massage is the habit my mumma suggested me during my early teen days. It works like crazy when you practice it along with just washing your face with simple soap and water. Mindful eating is also a practice i love so much and i seldom get distracted while eating. It is a rule in our home not to watch TV or bring our phones to the table. I feel so good to see some of the habits that i already practice. Rest ones are also great ones! 👍

Another great habit for me is using my blackroll for tension relief. Or, as an alternative, my acupressure mat. I could fall asleep on those things, it's so relaxing. Oh, and a perfect add-on after the dry brushing is taking a bath with ph-balanced bath salt if you have access to a bathtub! Aileen, I really enjoyed the journaling prompt you recently gave on Instagram. The one about one's favorite love language and specifically about how to express this love language TOWARDS YOURSELF. That's one angle I never looked at this concept before (usually, it's only about how you can get others to better speak your love language and about you speaking other people's), and I feel that most of these practices like self-massage and dry brushing are a great way for everybody but especially for people with physical touch as their primary love language! So thanks for this prompt and this type of video 💟

hi aileen, i just came across an interesting topic today. it was a video about self care in different cultures. western cultures tend to do more „isolated self care“ while eastern cultures tend to do more „social self care“. westerns will work out, take a bubble bath and do a sheet mask, easterners will go visit their parent or grandparents or invite friends over or help in the community. maybe it would be interesting to do both things for a holistic approach, what do you think? would you like to make a video about „social self care“?
