Hi so I have a dandruff problem and wanted to ask a question: I normally wash my own hair every 2 weeks or get it done & oil it in between or when I get it done I do hot oil treatments… if I start washing it every week should I continue to oil it between washes? My hair has been so much itchier ever since I stopped getting the hot oil treatments & I live in NV & it’s very dry here so I’m at a crossroads.

@@jazmineshell4528 Hey, if you feel the hot oil treatments has been helping, then keep doing it. But I would say to reduce how often you oil your scalp, as too much of it on your scalp could be causing irritation.

My hair stylist has also recommended rose water. I've started using it round the front and back of my head for now and I think it's making a difference to my seborrheic dermatitis so far. Sometimes I rub about 2 or 3 drops of jojoba oil with it but I'll try the tea tree oil as well

As I am dry and itchy cowash has worked so well for me with this issue... Worth a try for anyone reading this. Aloe vera is also a must!

I started using onion juice, aloe vera and ginger juice mixed together in a small amount and it helped me and I used to wash my hair every 3 weeks and I cut it down to every 2 weeks

@paulacave27 Жыл бұрын
@@Sol-zv4wy yes and after using the onion juice and ginger you'll need to shampoo and condition so your hair won't smell like onion and ginger

Here I am dancing with excitement. Thank you so much, this is very helpful for me personally. I don't know if using tea tree oil in shampoo is working for me so far. I'm giving myself 2 more months then I'll try out the lemon juice you mentioned before I try Apple cider vinegar. I feel like lemon juice is more natural. Appreciate you mentioned we give each process some time. I tend to move on to the next thing before a month kkkk. I see I need patience. Thanks again. ❤💌

Aww…bless you 😄 No worries, hopefully you’ll find something that eventually works. Yeah definitely try one thing at a time to see how things progress, but I’m sure a few of those options will help. Some can even be mixed together, so just experiment and see what works…and yes, mixing tea tree into your shampoo is a good one too 👌🏾Best of luck 💕

Hi, thanks for your nice videos. Please how do I use the apple cider vinegar and baking soda
@HealthyAfroHair3 жыл бұрын
Hey, you’re welcome! Ok, so there’s various recommendations on the ratios to use, so you’ll probably want to start off with very small amounts of each (to see how your scalp responds) and then increase it, if need be. So try using 1 part ACV with 5 parts water and rinse the scalp with it. For baking soda, try 1-2 teaspoons mixed with water (enough to create a paste), then apply to the scalp. Leave on for a few minutes then rinse. Feel free to look up other remedies as well.

@HealthyAfroHair Жыл бұрын
Hey, you can mix them both together and massage your scalp. Just a few drops of tea tree into a fair amount of coconut with be sufficient.
