All the light and warm weather, amazing food, friendly people, so much to say. About your videos you manage to take us to unforgettable places I probably won't be able to visit in a lifetime. Your Portuguese fluency is getting better every day, regarding your good bye Portuguese expression "até logo", probably "até já" will have a different impact!! And will be easiest to say. Please leave it alone, If you love Portugal dont destroy it, Im talking about erosion in the west coast, in the last 10 years we lost quite abit of shore, we suffering for it. The west coast has been raped by tourists, surf schools and locals too, the progress its getting progressive, I love the fact that people like to come to Portugal and its very good for the economy but if it keeps going like this it will end up like the south of Spain. Lovely work Guys and again im just trying to protect what is ours and yours to visit.

I am totally with you on this. There are enough spoiled beachs for those who like that. Let the other beaches for adventures. In my childhood there was this beach in the northern coast of Portugal that my father took us every summer. It was an adventure to get there. After parking the car in a wasteland, we first had to cross a pine forest towards the ocean, that we could barely hear. Then, a labyrinthic dunes set came across in our way, wich was a joy for us as kids (and grown ups) to play hide and seek. Finally, from a gap between the dunes, we could see in the distance the calm waves of the ocean's low tide. We had to walk to and through the sea like, two hundred meters, before we get wet in the belly. That beach no longer exists It's vanished. They built a camping site and a golf course nearby.

Those beaches are beautiful but seawater is cold. I grew up in Manta Rota, where seawater temperatures are great, sometimes above 26ºC, but it varies according to the wind direction. Moreover eastern algarve is the hottest region of Portugal, with average annual temperatures above 18ºC. There are two climates in the Algarve, Csa and Csb; the coast between Lagos and Alentejo has a Csb climate, with mild summers. The coast between Lagos and Spain has a Csa climate, with hot summers, but the coast between Faro and Spain is special, because it's exposed to winds from Africa, so maximum temperatures can reach almost 40ºC, tropical nights are common and seawater temperatures sometimes are above 27ºC or even 28ºC.
