I love that you touched on collecting. I have a collection of several hundred action figures, although I live the majority of my life outside of that collection as a minimalist. You have to make minimalism work for your own life, for sure.

Another valued, compelling video Nicholas. Thank you! I used to have 90% blue in my drawers and closet then broke the pattern up. Same with coffee mugs, given my extensive travelling over the years I had several shelves smothered with mugs. Yet one a day was used. Long gone. I also minimized the collection of shot glasses as well. Memories are in our head not having an excessive amount of items shoved in drawers, shelves, etc.

There was a program on tv last night on Australian Tv (Compass). The host who horrified me by implying the environment was the only motivation behind people being minimalists. What she was describing was actually eco minimalism- not my motivation behind becoming a minimalist.
