Its the pressure of having to do it in 30 seconds, people get fixated on one thing then panic and you're not that bad wait until Roisin Conaty and Rob Beckett goes on it you feel like a genius compared to them.

Lol Jodi looks so defeated. Keep plowing on! My girlfriend just enjoys the show but I play along and have scrunched up many bits of paper and thrown them in frustration. I just get the standard "you know you're picking that up right?".

You two are adorable and competitive, and i know you recorded this before my comment in part 1, but I'll say again, it's for fun, so play the game, chill out a bit, then rewind 30 second and watch the antics too. Jodie, no matter how bad you think you did in that maths round for 113, you will never do as bad as Catherine Tate, i forget the number but it was like 101 and she didn't get it.

The thing is, you'll get better at the games as you go on. I tend to scan for common suffixes first and that can help. Look for "ing, er(s), ion, less, ive, ure, etc..." If you find any of those, you can quickly tick those letters off and make a smaller base word with your remaining letters and get a lot of 7s and 8s. With the numbers games, you'll often find that it can be done in two stages. Stage 1 is just bulking up the number to a few numbers off the target, then a fine tune. When you get fast at dividing you can often just break down the problem by "correcting" the target by one of the small numbers so that it's divisible by more numbers. This just takes a bit of practice. The conundrums seems to be a gift you're born with. On the real countdown you get some amazing people come on (not comedians!). Some of them seem to always see the answer instantly and buzz within the first second.

Definitely a good approach to do the longer shows, and the actual timed events. It is entertaining, and everybody at home takes a bit longer as it's annoying when you are so close to stop.

The 113 one can also be done 10x10=100, 100/5=20, 100+20=120, 6+1=7, 120-7=113. That way you use all of the numbers.

I didn't get any points from the first letters round (Last section) for a number of 5s In the first numbers round, the closest I got in the 30s was 740=(25x7+10)x4, but if we're counting the added time at the end I got it with 739=(8x10+25)x7+4, so that puts me on either 7 or 10 points depending on if we're allowed the extra time too The second letters game I got stuck on trying to make emotion or Martian work, but both repeated vowels. So only another 5 for me for no points Second numbers round I got within time 113=100+1+5+6+10/10 Note, Jodi still could have got it from where she stopped at 116. 100+10+6=116. 10/5+1=3. 116-3=113 Fracked for the third letters game. I know Fracking is a thing, so I assume a place can be Fracked, but I may be wrong So I would be at 24 from the 2 numbers rounds and the final letters round (Assuming a place can indeed be fracked)

Dear Nick and Jiodie. I think you have the format the wrong wat round on this show and taskmaster. Given this is a new competiton each episode, it can be done in snippets, episode 1 has no relation to episode 2 and you can watch episodes aat random with no loss. Taskmaster is a competiton across the Series. Episode 1 effects episode 2 and so on till the end of the series and the prize award. You will never really understand the show if you keep on just doing random mixed tasks in unordered and disconnected manner. The show losses most of it's appeal when you break the competiton format. Check out KZbinrs - Neil Talks, FWCI etc and also newley started David versues Film, all of whom are reactors who have done it by episode from season 1 onward with much success.
