Incorrect. Affinity Photo has not yet reached critical mass, but it will. For example, it has a dedicated frequency separation filter, eliminating the multi-step process that PS requires. There are still a very few things it can't do, but that won't last. It costs $50 once, with free upgrades forever, so you do not serve the Adobe life sentence.

New subscriber here. I am blown away by your willingness to share incredible information. I just recently purchased your online course for even more info. It's impressive how candid you are, and how you get into the details of every aspect of shooting boudoir. Plus your positivity and insistence on getting it done, instead of getting it perfect is the kick in the butt so many of us could use. For years now I have downplayed my skills, and made excuses for this and that. These past two weeks since discovering you even existed has been nothing short of a revelation. Thank you!

Man, I've just discovered your channel. It's so great! You'r approach to boudoir photography is so polished. I'd love to see the whole process. From first meeting with a model and how it transitions to the actual photo shoot, ending with results being shown to a client. I think the experience a client gets is sometimes even more important than the actual photos. Keep on creating this great content, I'll keep watching it! Thanks!
@MichaelSasser6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kind words Oskar! The experience is SO important. Quality pictures are amazing, but it's more about how the client feels than how they look. If you want to see more of the experience, check the link in the description, I show from hair and makeup through to the shoot, picking out outfits, all of it!

Looks like that animoto tool you are using is Animoto Memories: "As of October 2018, the Animoto Memories slideshow video builder has become a legacy tool and is no longer included as part of Animoto for newly registered users." With the new tool, It just seems to default to a single photo at a time/ a single slide at a time. No automatic dynamic mixing and matchin that I can see like you demo'ed. Just manually set 1 2 3, etc photos each slide by hand :(

Had me at the first 23 seconds of the video. The presentation, level of quality / luxury ... very well done. I really want to ask where you got it printed and bound, but I understand that's part of your brand. **sighs** That attention to detail is far beyond what most would even care about. Going that extra mile for a client speaks volumes. Subscribed.

@@MichaelSasser indeed. And for the women being photographed, it complements / accents that special moment for them. Though observers might not care, to be on the receiving end of that ... is potent. -- Similarly, I had all black embossed suede business cards made. Paid $2 per card despite that it doesn't even have my name on it (it's for an anonymous unpaid project). Simply because I wanted the card to be experienced / felt before it's even seen (the text is black, so it takes closer inspection to see). The experience makes a difference.

@danlightened5 жыл бұрын
@@ceciliainnes2586 Photobox is popular for printing albums in Europe. Hahnemuhle, Ilford, Kodak are some good paper companies. The kind of paper (paper rag, bartya etc) depends on the type of artwork and is your creative decision. I know this doesn't help much but sadly I can't post links to some good videos and articles since youtube blocks them. There are definitely some papers that are preferred for certain kinds of photos (B & W, High contrast,minimal, fine art) and but there's very little info on the web about it. And like you suggested, he or some pro photographer should surely shed some light upon it.

@harkypark94135 жыл бұрын
@@striderhere Hi there yes it does at it is only loading basic thumbnails and it is not doing any conversion to dng or otherwise. You can view each image at 1.1 and higher to check for sharpness and stuff although I do find that a bit fiddly. My main reason for using it is to add captions and keywords for stock photography then I open the batch in Lightroom and that is just as slow if you are converting to dng. It was originally used by photojournalists who would be working with large numbers of files and working to a deadline. Its not for everyone and I only use it for meta data and I still have to go through Lightroom afterwords for basic edits etc. You can try a free 30 days I think to test it out but as I say its not for everyone. Their support is good.
