As a Dutchie I would say Netherlands are likely to lineup with a 4 at the back, as Koeman said that he wants to play offensive football (also not calling up Maatsen suggests he won’t play a back 5). However, I actually think Dumfries will start at right back, as he is more physical and slightly better defensively. But Koeman did say that Frimpong was an option at right wing, like how he often plays there for Leverkusen. So that is definitely something to look out for, we’ll have to see how he lines up in the friendlies. Also, when Koeman said that van Dijk was the first choice penalty taker, it was when Depay wasn’t at all involved in international football. However, now Depay is back I expect he will be the penalty taker when he is on the pitch.

@@Sancho_codm I think so, he is probably still our best forward when he is on form and Koeman is very keen on him. He said recently that he expects Depay to be fully fit to play 90 minutes in our first game against Poland, so he is highly likely to start 👍

Frimpong is such a difficult one, i love him as a player so naturally i want to fit him in but i feel like its too risky now. This might be a massive benifit of wildcard gw2 so we can see who the right back is (Frimpong is honestly more likely to play right wing)

Tip as a Belgian: Casteels is first choice not Sels. Fit Vertonghen is the nailed on defender Faes might be benched for debast/witsel. (But with vertonghen injured Faes will indeed start. Meunier/theate also injured so De Cuyper starts)

The Netherlands are going to play "Total Mixed System Football" So to play 60 minutes on wing positions which are highly substituted it's risky also with Geertruida as option on rwb or rb so md1 maybe Frimpong/Dumfries md2 Geertruida/Dumfries md3 Geertruida/Frimpong so need to watch the friendlies.

German here, avoid Gündo at all cost. As good as he is for City, i cant remember a SINGLE game where he was good for us.

I would have to disagree on the frimpong point, if they play a back 4 then Dumfries should start because he is solid defensively I watched Liverkusen this season and Frimpong is shambolic defensively, his value is in the offense So if they play a 3 back and give attacking freedom to the RWB then Frimpong should get the nod

How does price changes works?

Player prices will stay the same until the Matchday 2 deadline. Once the Matchday 3 deadline has passed, some players' prices will be adjusted based on their performances in the previous games. Prices will keep changing throughout the tournament depending on how many points players score.

Question for Belgian supporters, what do you think about Doku, can he be the hidden gem?

Problem him is that he’s not guaranteed to start, but for Belgium, Trossard and Doku have been our best two wingers with Bakayoko being on the bench, Martinez prefers Doku but sometimes Bakayoko has started ahead of him, all in all Doku starts and plays brilliantly when he starts but I would avoid him as he’s a rotation risk but he’s a good differential (although his G/A is very limited)

Doki is the preferred option on the left, not trossard. Trossard is more likely to play central for us. But he is not a gem in the sense that he is listed as a forward and you have better options IMO up front

I see him more in the middle of kdb plays lower. Or in contention for the wing but he is definitely not 100% nailed
