Hello! I'm 14, and my mom has always taught me to speak with elderly people since they have so much to share. Yet I can't really with my own grandma often, seeing as how she's an extreme alcoholic and pill addict. I just found your channel today, and I already love it :) Hope you're doing well!!

Hi Kiley, Im 52 and have 3 kids. My Grandmother was born in 1903 and her mother was still wearing corsets! When I was 17 I asked her what the meaning of life was. She said "having fun". At the time I thought this was a pretty lame answer but now I get it. The older you get the harder life becomes and having fun becomes rare. My grandmother lived to 96 and I miss her. I hope you can find a way to connect with yours even though it is hard, she will be gone one day and when this happens you will have so many questions you'd wished you had asked. Remember to have fun in your life if you can!

@@bluefoxblitz8416 Very sweet message! Yes, the past year or so I actually have been closer to my grandma. Not super close, but much better than in the past. I've always wondered what people say the meaning of life is, my mom says that when I was 4 years old I asked her, "What is this life mommy? This life just can't be real. How long does this life go on, mommy?" 😂 I definitely agree with what you and your family think.

Good morning Sandra yesterday was Valentine’s Day and this 70+ year old widow, woke up, feeling rather lonely and a little unloved. Which also made me feel selfish because I have two lovely children who I know love me. Within an hour of having these feelings, my bell rang, and I received a lovely bouquet of flowers and cards from them, I felt happy, blessed and a little ashamed. It’s 3am and I couldn’t sleep so I looked you up. What a blessing you are Sandra. I will be asking myself these questions every day. ❤

Thank you Sandra for lifting me up tonight. My 51 yr old daughter has been diagnosed with uterine cancer. I still can’t believe it; I know I am in denial with such a terrible event in our family. I think why her instead of me? She has a lot of living to do and I am closing in on the end of my life and healthy. It’s hard to have a positive attitude when there is so much suffering that can happen and no control over it. But, my faith will walk me through this and know there will come strength and grace that will keep me strong and my family.

2\14\2024. Just now listened to this video. Very nice thank you. I woke with more back pain then normal and a headache and I was walking my mind away from "ooh poor me." So I was looking for Jesus and I wondered what he thought and I gave thanks for Him and my life. And I started asking what do I want to do? Normal first video I listen to is a daily Bible reading. But your video was the right place to start this morning. Thank you.

Thank you Sandra for being such a warm and cheerful person. I'm 61 and it just assures me that ageieng doesn't automatically turn a person into a cynical, bitter and demanding person. No ! Someone at work said this about me some months ago : Just don't be fooled by Tricia; wait a few years down the line..... all this pleasantness and understanding person will be gone ;she will be a demanding, difficult , mean person. I refused that description and pointed out that if I disliked something my whole life there is no way I'm going to like it in my old age. Thank you that you are a living proof that one can be pleasant, warm and caring even as you are in your senior years.

“What is important in your life?”...Sandra Safety is extremely important in my life. Probably because I came from a single mother background and survival resources were alway extremely scarce; often we were on public assistance. And my mother conveyed her terror by way of cautionary tales about life! This traumatized me to alway focus on safety foremost. Over a lifetime I earned several degrees, started a few small businesses and took some chances in order to earn higher rewards in the financial markets. All this I did NOT because I was ambitious, HARDLY...I did it because I was always SCARED...

Beautiful lady, Here is the phrase I repeat to myself, often out loud, every day: "I am NOW the man (or woman) I would like to be!" Also, "I am NOW the man (or woman) I was meant to be!" Somehow, by declaring this in the present tense, I am empowered to live out those ideals of who and what I desire to be. There is magic in this method! I think of the scripture which says, "God declares those things which be not, as though they were!" We are to be emulators of Him, and therefore, by utilizing this principle, we, too, can speedily have come to pass that which we desire to become. Right here and right now! Blessings to you, lovely wise lady, and to all. In His Love, Mack

❤ Very interesting perspective. Accolades versus getting things done. You have great insight Sandra. Thankfully my focus is getting things done. I am a to do person. I am thankful for the blessing of each and every thing I can do. May the Lord help us to do what we can while we can. Ruth x

Dear Sandra, thank you so much! I was always wondering what happens to the 40 + women, because I felt like they vanish from the media when they turn 40 or older as if we women loose our worth when we can‘t get children any more. I know for sure that there are a lot of men who think this way. But I believe there is so much natural wisdom in us women, especially concerning topics of the daily life. In that sense, it is so healing for me to listen to your channel. Thank you!

Sandra, today is Election Day. This was a perfect message for today. I am voting today in hopes to preserve America. It feels like, all the steps forward for women are fast disappearing. I don’t recognize us, anymore. The cruelty and the mean spirit are overwhelming. I am hoping for the best today, but preparing for the worst. Either direction it goes, I have no control. I believe in kindness and helping one another. Thank you for your sweetness and your intelligent videos. May we all live in peace. Hugs, judy

Talk to me, Sandra! I’m wondering if you don’t get offers from others, drawn to you for your positivity! Love your channel! By the way, I’m 71, live in the Southern Plains area, and I’m not prepared to be alone. As others have commented, my family is very important to me but sadly doesn’t have time for me. (Oh, woe is me. Back to my pity party.) Seriously I love hearing your positive thoughts! Keep ‘‘em coming! ❤️

Sometimes I feel pushed into want I don’t want my life to be. Somedays I feel stuck. This video made me smile. I know I can only control my life. I appreciate you making these points. I will begin asking myself these questions and teaching my adult children. I believe we make our own paths. And when we know better, we do better. My life has been broken a few times, because I allowed it. Some people don’t get me. My family thinks it’s funny that I can be poor but yet happy. God makes sure my needs are met and he loves me. That’s one of the biggest thing that matters to me. Life hasn’t been perfect, but it’s good. I’m thankful everyday. And I’m thankful for you Sandra. ❤

60 here and I so adore that what Florida calls Sunrooms. I could really enjoy coffee there. I love my view also. Straight up woods with all animals scurrying around. You have an amazing day.
