It goes both ways. Many black women are nothing more than walking contradictions. You claim to be strong and independent and blah blah blah on one hand, but turn around and say what a man needs to do for you in order for him to possibly have a chance with you. If you're truly strong, etc., (you're not) then a man shouldn't even be in your thoughts, vocabulary and all other shenanigans you all perform.

I have this so called accent myself. Raised by white people in a predominantly white area. I’m with a white man and he even notices that I still have “black woman vocal chords.” we just have different size larynxes than other races and the fact that we have wider noses and fuller lips make us sound different as well. I’m a dark skinned woman with a skinny nose but the bridge of my nose is still blended like an African. wider noses are able to take in more oxygen and that helps with SINGING! they say we have such powerful voices and such great singers. This is why. sorry I got off topic but it’s related! 😂

It’s so sad how we have internalized colorism. Somehow someone having a preference for our skin is unnatural/a fetish, but someone’s preference blond hair and blue eyes is acceptable, even expected. Have y’all seen our skin? It has EVERY reason to be desired and even preferred. ❤ Mixed and white women are not sitting around being offended because they are preferred and even worshipped, they are literally marrying those men and being happy and spoiled. If you are being fetishized you will know, he won’t care about you as a person, he will talk about your skin non stop and basically just be creepy. Being desired and preferred feels a lot different, in my experience.

You are right. I've dated men of different skin tones; white, black, Asian skin tones and ethnicities, latino skin tones and ethnicities. Men are men, no matter their skin color. You can get mistreated just as easily no matter the skin tone. Just got to stick with the ones that treat you right. Not looking for a partner based on their skin tone is very important. Go for the ones that treat you right. And regarding fetishes. You truly can tell the difference from being desired as a fetish or being desired as a person with lovely features. The festishers are obsessive about the fetish and are super creepy just as zahararay5611 said. They can even become stalkers an everything about you in their conversation is always about your skin. Or if they have a boob fetish, all they focus on are your breast. Foot fetish folks, only really focus on your feet and ways it can pleasure them... I know this from experience. Run away fast.

Thank you for the first reason because I don’t feel like black women online that introduce other Black women to international dating are ever willing to say it’s ok if you don’t want to do this and it’s actually not a good idea to do this if you don’t want to. I attract men from other races but it’s only been about a fetish style interaction so my curiosity can’t even be about anything else accept keeping up barriers ya know.

I'm sorry if you already mentioned this in your video. I didn't hear it mentioned, so I thought I'd add. I would avoid going from pedestalizing black men to pedestalizing another race of men. I think this happens often in the divestment space, especially with white men. I also find this slowly happening with Asian men, perhaps because of the rise in Kpop/Kdramas? I can't control what other people do or prefer. However, I've seen women end up in similar situations with other races of men because they feel the problem is black men and the solution is white men or men of another race. The solution is quality men and higher standards for ourselves. And my personal fear is that other men will catch on to this and will take advantage. I've started seeing this a bit. This idea that black women are "desperate" and I do NOT want any man of any race feeling like this is the case. I've dated men of almost all races and they all have the qualities in men that I look for. So, I think it's good for black women to see all the options the world has to offer. But, never put a man on a pedestal, especially before he can show you who HE truly is. And I personally don't think one can do that if you are too desperate, have a low self-esteem, etc. But yes, good advice in this video!

If a WM is with a BW, that BW is with the lowest and rejected of the WM. It's a step down for him and he loses. Same if a WW gets with a BM, she has reduced herself to nothing and gets no respect and in fact is rejected by the WM. So it's all rejects getting together putting an end to their own lines. How can a rose stay a rose if it's a hybrid? We now have Ligers...one day no more lions and tigers. And let's be real, the BW always looks like she can whoop her WM's beehind. It's like they get the weakest WM physically. The BW literally look like they could bench press their WM. The WM are always so much less muscular than the BW. Again, the lowest of the WM. Same with the Becky's - lowest of the WW. Let's just be real - the rejects of each community are getting together because their own don't want them.

Bravo!!! Your analysis is spot on. I am a N. Cal girl and the reality for a long time is that most black men in the Bay Area date women of other races. This was no problem because the white guys asked for dates. My life with my white husband has been wonderful because he and I have similar values. We both grew up in environments unmarred by deviant behavior, cultural constraints and poverty. I understand when some black men say that they feel liberated when dating white women, maybe because the women provide a rationale for the men to challenge themselves to compete and demonstrate to the woman's family and friends that he can be competitive, or maybe, for him, the woman is worth it to achieve success. Also, black guys can enter a relationship with a white woman free from the bondage of negative cultural norms (e.g., struggle love). White guys, not trailer park or losers like the January 6th offenders are different because they understand that they are the dominant group of men among men and they compete against themselves. White men interested in achieving an upper middle class and above lifestyle understand that they are required to obtain an education, to work hard and to follow well defined paths (i.e., no criminal activitiy). Most white guys marry in their 20's because it signals stability to their employers and when a man has responsibilities, he is less inclined to blow it. Sometimes white men have a competitive advantage and it may work sometimes when he is competing against non white men but when he competes against other white men, class, socioeconomic status, college attended and family name can be helpful or detrimental to access. No one has it made. Black women do themselves a disservice by not positioning themselves to date an array of men. American black men are not the only men that exist. Also, men with the mindset of Dwyane Wade and Iman Shumpert view their good wives as the enemy and expendible. Those men are not concerned about companionship because they are aware that large swaths desperate women will jump at the chance to be with them. Ditty has seven children with four women and he was never required to marry the women or to be faithful. Those women were willing to contract life altering HIV or other STD's. When women limit their options as many black women do, they are subject to selling their souls and sanity to the devil for a few pieces of silver or to the production of children by men that abandon them to live in poverty.

Tbh, I was considered a little weird to black people period. 😂 Dating white men does have its host of problems and a black girl needs to ALWAYS protect herself. My husband of one year is white and I feel like he was made for me. We are both in tech but he has considered moving into finance. First, great video, Chris! I think it was a good perspective to provide. I often see people trying to shape your narrative for you, around this topic. It was really smart to address this head on so now you can just drop the KZbin link in the future when folks try to come at you like you’re creating this cookie cutter POV that should work for all BW. I can honestly say that in my ten years of watching you I would never say that was your take. Next, all I’ll say as a person who doesn’t 100% agree with everything you say (I don’t think we should with anyone tbh) that I disagree with a lot of what you say about the intersection of class and race. Race and class are inextricably intermingled especially for the BW. I would encourage you to look up Leah Goodridge and her work. She is an attorney that wrote a white paper on the intersection between professionalism and white supremacy. I think you’d find it helpful to deep dive on it as a lot of it is my POV on this topic. A lot of what you impart about class and/or race comes from that school of thought. And I feel that way because you don’t super impose the same expectations on the side of the other men that you encourage BW to explore dating, in addition to BM. At the end of the day men are men. And sometimes I feel like you speak about other men as if they don’t have the same issues but by another name. For example swag typically is just machismo in their races. All races of men have their way of “performing” masculinity in inauthentic ways so they never have to truly be vulnerable. But that isn’t discussed here. So I’d caution taking the worship that many used to have for BM and superimposing that same worshipful you can’t do anything wrong, I’m going give you the cheat codes, attitude that BW have about BM…onto all the other men. Because at the end of the day men are going to be men no matter the race. And you can most assuredly get caught slipping thinking otherwise.
@hottstepher
@hottstepher 10 ай бұрын
Respectfully, I don’t think “swag” & machismo are the same at all. A woman can have “swag”. I think machismo has a touch of _toxic misogyny_ included.

@@hottstepherI agree, swag is a way of being. It’s a combination of confidence, body language, mannerisms, walk, talk, facial expressions. The word ‘swag’ was shorted from ‘swagger’ by the black community to name that je ne sais quoi, that cool, confidence that certain black men have. White men can have it, but not the same way black men do. Its like whites can have soulful voices, but it very rarely can rival that of a black gospel singer.

I am a Japanese-American male, born in 1973 in Seattle, who wants to weigh in: In 2012, I married a very pretty Black/Cherokee/White woman, who is 17 years younger than me. In 2013, we had a daughter, and that means she's 10 in 2023. My ex-wife and I have divorced, but it was totally amicable. From the beginning, we agreed to let our daughter live majority of the time with her mother. Before the pandemic, I used to have 3 weeks every summer to spend with my daughter. My mother is from Japan, and she's taken her granddaughter to Japan on 3 occasions. When the pandemic hit, and social distancing was needed, I lost a lot of contact with my daughter. Nothing bad happened between my ex-wife and I: Rather, while it was a shotgun wedding, we did try to make it work. But, our relationship was just more "crickets," because our 17 year age difference manifested itself. How did we get together in the first place? Obviously, she's hot, and she thought I was handsome (for a 39 year old). Her family has been great to me. And, nobody in my family rejected my ex-wife or my daughter, because of her African-American race. So, my long-winded point is, I do think that African-American women can have great interracial relationshps with White, Asian, Middle-Eastern, East Indian, Latino, and Native American men. Maybe, had my ex and I been closer in age, and had more in common (than physical attraction to each other), we may still be together. A bonus: For what 10-year old "puppy love" is worth, my daughter tells me about the boys at school who she likes, and they're all Caucasian boys! And, from what I can see, Caucasian and Asian boys really like HER! To give you a visual, my daughter looks like a 10-year old version of Mariah Musselman (daughter of Coach Eric Musselman and Danyelle Sargent)

Pink Pill you look so young and fresh and dewy and happy and at peace. Now my reaction to this video. With more black women from Gen Z to Millennials, and even some Gen X black women waking up and realizing that we are no longer stuck, trapped, or beholden to black men or what I call (The Plantation of Pain-Poverty-and struggle love), we are taking the road less traveled. The modern-day 21st century black women are not only thinking outside the box we are breaking outside the box. 2024 will continue to break away from the plantation and our interracial stats will climb, our birth rate of having mixed race children will increase, and our social status as a result of dating out and marrying out will place us closer to entering into the world of Polite Society. Being pro-black is a waste of time. And white men are not the only men for us. The world is our oyster and it's ours for the taking and black women have the right to be happy and loved. Thank you Pink Pill🥰💛

We need to also make space to get down to the nuts and bolts of swirling/divesting. We also have to express what kind of problems we encounter as a result. I feel there's a bias if you're being honest about the bad experiences folks jump on you. And by looking at the comments this is true! That actually happenes in general with interracial/dating with blacks period. It will improve the whole swirl/divestment movement as a whole the more honest we are. It takes experience to navigate these new waters well. After dating out, I had to change how and who I dated as a result of. This improved my overall experience. You offer a wonderful perspective & very helpful reasons for BW not to date or marry out if it's truly not for them. I will say that the channels where BW can just be angry & in a sense, mourn the realities of Black American together, are very much necessary. If I'm not mistaken, I think you said that you didn't grow up immersed in Black America. You grew up predominantly around White people? I could be wrong with that information. It may have been easier for you to get to a place of neutrality and authentic detachment of unhealthy Black American cultural norms. I think women who are still deeply wired with the unhealthy, yet normalized programs & scripts of Black America need to have a place where they can just be angry & finally realize they have been gaslit by much of our culture's belief systems. It it to the point where BW are shamed for being angry and so many BW try so hard to prove they aren't yet another "angry Black woman", that it is actually causing health problems living in so much denial of what they know they see everyday in Black America. To finally have a place, or a couple places, where what they have been seeing is validated, is healing and those places can finally offer BW the release of finally being angry. It is important for BW to finally admit to & own their righteous anger & some, many, may need more time deconstructing, and releasing, in order to finally be at peace with what actually is. I grew up in Black America... well NYC for my childhood, then ATL for adolescence. I just never naturally fit in and I was reminded of that most of my life by many Black people. So when I left home & sought my own adventures, and found myself in White circles (well hippy White circles, lol), and the more earthy, off the beaten path multicultural circles, I found my people and that came with ease for me, because I never felt like I belonged with the general Black American culture I was born into & had modeled to me growing up. I did recieve the programming though of deep male worship, so I do tune into those channels so I can keep releasing the programs... mainly because I have see how problematic it has been for me at times, dating outside my race & culture with those programs still in tact within myself. Obviously the male worship I was programmed to have was meant to be directed towards bm, but I naturally ended up being the person who is going love who I want to love, and recieve love where I am truly recieving loved. So I guess I was never really a loyal Black woman (to bm) & I have peace about that. But the BW who have fully embraced those scripts & programs who are now finally admitting to what they always saw and felt was off in Black America, they should have the time they need to mourn the loss of the fantasies & delusions as they finally choose to see the realities. That is a painful journey & as much as BW are shamed out of being angry, some of us just might need to be angry for a bit longer & we need validation in our righteous anger and inner rage. I think we need to continue to or begin to create spaces where BW can own their anger and finally be completely validated in that anger & rage, and we can be loved & cared for in the state so many of us are still in. Maybe as we get to the place where we own our anger rather than the anger owning us, it may actually get us to true healing, release and neutrality faster as we are embraced & validated in that state. I think that is why I truly appreciate those channels & content creators. This very thing is what I am going to be doing my doctoral dissertation on... Black women finally embracing & owning our inner Lilith & Kali Maa archetypical feminine expressions within and finally stop shaming them, as a way of finally finding peace & healing. Lilith (supposedly the equal counterpart to Adam... long before Eve came along) and Kali Maa (The Hindu Goddess of righteous rage, pretty much, who cuts through the false ego) are archetypes that we BW embody quite naturally and so many of us shame ourselves for have these attributes when the realities so many of us experienced throughout time, would create the inner Lilith and inner Kali Maa to come forth. They are no bull sh*t feminine archetypes connected more with the expressions of feminine shamed in the unchecked patriarchy. Admitting to and embracing those energies and understanding why they are so strong in us as a collective of BW, are essential parts of our keys to healing.... I believe What you shared is so necessary as well. We have to get to the point where we hold our inner fire and anger, rather than our fire consumming us and our anger eating away at us. I just believe an essential step in that process involves owning the anger in the first place

I have a question 🙋🏿‍♀️. Why are Black Women always giving these talking points not to date & marry Men of different nationalities? Black Men have no issues in dating and marrying different nationalities of Women. Even their marriages end up in higher-end of divorce. I'm really tired of people trying to lecture Black Women like little children. We are more responsible then the Men in our Black Communities globally. Sistahhood date or marry who you want . Make sure he respects you and care about you as a person. Don't live for the community, they damn sure isn't checking for your ass.

It's unfortunate that if WM desired BW the way they do women of other races (e.g., AS) ...these struggle conversations would not happen. WM/BW relationships would just happen organically without much of a thought. The reality is that after all these discussions, I'm still not seeing many WM marrying BW....and when they do it's often not AA women. Only when BW stop perseverating on their hatred of BM will men of other races find them more attractive...men are not stupid.

Actually black American women are getting married interracially. Since 2012, the numbers of married black women in IR went from 9% to 12% in 2015. That is a 33% increase.

@sherwoodla6535 10 ай бұрын
@@ThePinkPill_OG Then there shouldn't be a need for these conversations. I still stand by my original assertion. Many of the WM/BW marriages I've seen are often with non-AA women when I get closer and listen to the woman's accent. Also, America throws non-AA black women in the same statistical category as AA (or Black) women and then refers to all BW living in America as AA women.

Any increase in IR marriages is due to whites becoming more racially tolerant not because BW have all of a sudden decided to avail themselves to WM. I don’t know of any BW that have turned down dating/marriage offers from eligible WM. If they did it’s out of fear of having to contend with his racially intolerant family…especially his mother who is rarely happy about such unions, it’s not because she wants to remain faithful to the “Brothers “. Let’s keep it real.

@ThePinkPill_OG

That's a very good question. There's really no way to know that for certain, but for the women who possess these issues I listed, definitely aren't ready or truly desirous of this, so they simply shouldn't. Nobody should be forced or shamed into making relationship choices. We're all adults. I just wish the black women who don't want to IR date to stop following around and shaming black women who do. Why would or should we care either way? It is my opinion the activist women harass black women who IR date and marry try to force other black women who think differently to stay right where they are. What is it to them? That is the real question.

Our single population is very large in number. There's no reason for us to date other races. Many of us bypass one another daily. A lady in church told the pastor that there aren't any single available man and the pastor as the single men to stand up. Around 120 men stood up in the church. Women need to stop practicing hypergamy. Waiting for the perfect man will cause you to miss out on good men. All women would love to be with a perfect man that other women want. Do you want this headache? You should choose the man who genuinely wants to be with you. And men should choose the woman that wants to be with them. Social media is making it seem like there's an abundance of options waiting for you. Options can lead to headaches.... Look deep before you leap....

Then you spend nearly five minutes of an hour long video talking about your beauty regiment. A white man can abuse and rape you the same way a black man could. On top of that you have to deal with them not understanding black culture and why black people are the way they are. You only can date white men if you hate yourself and your people. You notice it's all the dark skin ppl going after white ppl. They hate their skin and they don't want their kids to be dark like them. Self hate is real.
