I’m glad you mentioned his impact on Louisiana. I was very young when Katrina happened and it cannot be overstated how much a hero Brees is to me and many people in my generation. I’m not even an athlete, I’m a musician and I think he is one of the most important people to even be in New Orleans.

Came back from an injury that he should’ve been able to. Gave a city hope in its worst times ever. Went through a bounty scandals that handicapped his team. @@RB01.10 The owners don’t invest in the team. The team develops good players but up until recently the saints haven’t invested in big defensive deals or free agent signings. Drew brees was the reason the saints were always a tough team in the division. If the owners invested in a team brees COULD have 3+ rings, let’s not forget bountygate which hurt them. Now it’s not saying he would’ve but to be fair Brady def had a much better chance than brees when u take into accounts brees by all accounts is statistically better. I mean just compare the teams in the division. Brady had at least 4 division wins. Playoff wins aside, Brady had a much better division, and owner support

Personally I’m a Bills fan. Because of that, other players stand out from different teams. Drew Brees, in my opinion, is the best QB to ever play the game. He has the stats, the power, and the arm. When I told such to a bunch of my co-workers, one said “Rings count, Brady’s the best”. Another said the same thing. However, 3 Saints fans and a Giants fan agreed with my opinion. One of the saints fans even gave me a hug for explaining why.
