Looking for advice on how to be charismatic? Ever felt like some people instantly make us feel important? Some people instantly make us feel special and light up a room just by walking into it. We can’t always define it, but some people have it: they are naturally charismatic. Thanks to their research, we now know that charisma is less of an inborn set of traits but is something that everyone can develop by practicing a few key behaviors until they become habitual.
DISCLAIMER: This video is designed for educational purposes and is not suggesting that people who embody these qualities are classified as being ‘charismatic’. These are just some of the habits that, according to research, contribute towards somebody being charismatic.

@@glutimousmaximous9148 Many people have told me im very confident & charming and honestly Im very greatful that people percieve me that way its hard to explain because im naturally an extravert and I always talk to people first or make the first move, even if your anxious just think about the other person they are also probably anxious as well & by you talking to them or making a first impression without ever knowing them....it makes people very happy & makes them feel important (which they are) for example Theres this girl in my biology class & she often sits alone one day I walked up to her & just sat down, was quiet for a few seconds & then I turned towards the direction of her face and said a purposley cringey joke I then made direct eye contact, smiled & started laughing she looked at me & giggled I then proceded to introduce myself by saying my name I let there be a moment of silence & then I asked where she got her sweatshirt from because it was really unique she looked at her sweatshirt & was shocked I had even taken recognition to it & said Oh um thank you & smiled. I then said no problem, then I asked her about the work we were doing & asked what type of things she was into & she immidietly started opening up to me

I’m natural charismatic, i’ve noticed that people became very drawn to me in a short time, that people kept saying that i’m special for them & that i’m a good person because i actually listen to what they’re saying. It makes me feel super warm and happy because i didn’t even knew what charisma was for a long time 😂.

Then, psych2go made this video and bam! Well, okay... it's nice to know that I turned out to be one. Instant self-esteem boost! Thanks, psych2go. ❤️

The most charismatic person I know is an internationally renowned film and television actor. I know him personally, and he is naturally adept in all of these traits. In fact, when you spend time with him, he makes you feel as if you're the only person in the world when he's talking to you. He is very warm, incredibly funny, and he has good manners. In the 19 years I've known him, I've only seen him lose his temper once, and it was under extraordinary circumstances. These traits are all divorced from his work on screen. When he's on screen, he is magical at his craft and authentic. In real life, however, he is genuine, present, and delightful without necessarily tapping into his professional talent to connect with people. He's also a good friend and very kind to people.

I'm charismatic but I sometimes say things without thinking so I need to work on this some more. Etiquette coaches say we should ask questions when someone shares something and only give advice if we're asked for it. The acronym W.A.I.T. helps me a lot. Why Am I Talking? 😀 👍 I enjoyed the video a lot thanks. Often being pleasant and aiming to please others is less important than acknowledging your own needs, experiencing honest emotions, speaking the truth in kindness and being assertive. ;-)

Just be yourself and have fun wherever you may be or with those who ignite the fire of life inside you. Straight laced stiff people are just not a lot of fun to be around. Take a joke and laugh with them and soon enough the joke is on them and after a good laugh everyone there vibrate at a higher level. I'm sorry life is just too short to be around serious people who can't lighten up, when they laugh at as well as with you it makes for a good enjoyable atmosphere to bond with like minded people and the dark side of our lives these days lights up with joy. It's ok to forget our troubles for a while with others as the light shines on happy people for a while.

It is a strange thing that I find most of the mentioned things in myself (analyzing my general interactions) and I actually try to cultivate them in me. I am able to find attention in a group settings and more often then not become a center of it. This is great but somehow this does not help me even slightest in attracting someone to become more than "just a friend". For some reason I am unable to find a partner and continue to be stuck alone for years. (yes I watched all your related videos on the matter, overcome past relationship and trauma but no dice)

I've been learning how narcissists are often described as 'charismatic'. yet narcissists are known to be poorly self-regulated emotionally, and totally self-absorbed, making others into 'narcissistic supply'. I'm not sure how to reconcile the information provided in this video, with the well-known charisma of (toxic) narcissistic people.

I'm thinking if there is a way to be charismatic and not allow people to take advantage on you... to politely refuse things people ask from you and still radiate warmth. In my mind, it seems that when we need to do these things, for our own sake, we radiate cold or harden our heart in some way

Ah, so me talking about my various scars and the idiotic stories behind them is charismatic. I always felt a positive reaction whenever I told them, but I never knew it was this important to being charismatic. Never realized the secret was literally just not being scared to admit you aren’t perfect, but instead showing self-growth.

I am about to try for the first time in my life at age 43 going to show confidence, chariama, and sense of humor. I need to lighten way up about everything in life and stop being the same fears, shy, nervous, anxious stuttering baboon that doesn't even make eye contact with people I'm talking to. Guess you can say I know reality and I'm a realist...I'm going to fail miserably at implementing these things into my persona (*which is pathetic *). I actually have not one woman to attempt to be different than I have been in the past and maybe , just maybe I will meet a nice woman and keep her cuz of my implementation of things I've mentioned and more

Some people say I'm charming, I dont consider myself charming, But alot of people think I am, Honestly I dislike it a bit, I never get left alone, And when I get into arguments, There's always a bunch of people joining, Then Its like whatever I do effects the world, It's not all bad because you rarely get bullied but in all it's in between.

We are not really happy in a way but I am happy when I’m with people and sometimes when I’m alone Some of us keep happy thoughts but I never met other extroverts talk about how they always stay happy so I don’t actually know if all extroverts are like this
