Thank you for discussing shallow sleep. That was really helpful. Mine is joint pain caused by humidity. My joints swell up when I am sleeping. It wakes me up. The pain is incredible. It is a beautiful cool Autumn day here with lots of rain. I have the air conditioner on in my room to cut down on the humidity so I can take a small nap. I have been taking a lot of power naps lately. It has been helpful.

I think I might have commented this before but wearing socks in bed (even on warm nights) made a huge difference to my sleep. It stopped my night sweats, which means I sleep, on most nights, all the way through. My biggest problem now is my elderly dog, she's got into the habit of waking me up at 4am every morning, thinking it's breakfast time 😴

Thank you Eileen! I notice I am waking up in the middle of the night with indigestion issues. I just turned 47 and in perimenopause for two years. All of a sudden my stomach got messed up. Joint pain is bothering a lot too. I drink a lot of warm teas to help me relax😢 How much longer do we have with this painful journey?

I have dinner early and nothing after ..no caffeine after 5pm …I find that helps me sleep …a talking book…Audible…is excellent to help me nod off…but I wake early 🤷🏻♀️ Magnesium taken evening too .

Your routine also works for me. Additionally, the days I get in my exercise I find I sleep better that night. I also use an eye mask to avoid waking too early from the rising sun.

Well I find reading tires me out. So if it's real bad I will read. Other than than the magnesium helps and I set an alarm for a half hour beforehand bed time, stick to it and I don't betray myself. Plus I have stopped eating really big meals after 7, I All of a sudden have bad reflux so now I take a Prilosec along with my magnesium.

I am 10 years past menopause and still have insomnia! Even prescription insomnia medicines haven't helped. The insomnia benzo temazepam/Restoril gave me horrible withdrawal symptoms including worse insomnia. I 'd love to use your natural products but I am in the US and they are hard to find and much more expensive here.

Try a little tart cherry juice before bedtime.
